Blair's POV
(as Justin and Jayden are getting on the plane)
We had landed a few moments ago and we were just arriving at her house. I have to say this house was amazing. It fit well with the glossy background of the evergreen forest that had snow pelted on the pines. The house looked like it was made out of stone but it was so light and elegant. I got out of the taxi and knew Violet was going to get the bags. She quickly paid the taxi driver and went to take the bags out. I went up the steps and stood in awe at the house in front of me. Violet stood next to me and froze.
"There's someone in the house" she dropped the bags and quickly pulled out her key.
"How do you know?"
"I can smell them but I don't remember whose smell it is" she said putting the key into the knob and twisting it. The door clicked as I heard a gust of wind suddenly come to the right side of me. I assumed it was a vampire.
"Violet?" A smooth voice said. I looked and saw a blonde haired red eyed man holding Violet by the waist. Violet didn't say anything just stared at the man in front of her. I would be shocked too if I saw someone as attractive as him here in front of me. His skin was extremely pale and his features were defined. Although Justin is more my type. I saw a tear trickle down her right cheek as she was coming to senses with what was happening. I just had a really confused look plastered on my face. I didn't have anywhere to go. I didn't know if I could go in the house and I couldn't go down the driveway.
"Alex?" she asked finally responding.
"Yes it's me" he said letting a few of his tears fall.
"How? I thought you died with the Luna?" she asked him looking more confused than me.
"I wasn't in the house. That was another vampire. They said you ran away after the attack not saying where you were going so I went back here. I didn't know what happened to you after a few years I got worried and thought you would come back to me sometime soon. I'm just glad it wasn't a decade" he said enclosing the space between them in a hug. Violet hugged him back quickly. I cleared my throat after a while and knew they were not going to be sleeping for a while let alone me. They let go of each other finally.
"Here let me take this" Alex offered taking the bags we had. Violet packed one and I packed one. I don't think I'll be dressed for the weather considering we came from North Carolina. It was the summer time and I only had warm clothes. Here in the northern part of Canada it would be a lot colder. I already had goose bumps. Alex took our bags and brought them into the house by the front door.
"This house is a four bedroom so go choose one of the rooms and I'll bring you your bag. Oh yeah almost forgot. Alex" she said taking his arm and looking in front of me to introduce me, "this is Blair, Blair this is Alex"
"It's nice to meet you" I said slightly waving.
"Yeah same. I'm going to go find my room why don't you guys get acquainted" I said smiling awkwardly.
"Just head up the stairs and look through the hallways there should be a room to your liking" she said clingy onto Alex. I made my way up the stairs and wondered to two different rooms that had the doors closed. I saw the master bedroom and it looked like a mess. I didn't want to know what happened with Alex. I finally found my room. It had a modern theme to it. With brown walls and black accented furniture. The pillows had a magenta color to them and the sheets were elegant. I brushed my hand on it and found the back of the house as my view. The lush evergreen coated the view except for a small backyard with only grass and a fence blocking the woods from entering. I turned back to the room to see Violet setting the stuff down in my room. I smile at her as she comes over to me and hugs me. I can tell she's actually happy. I should leave though and give them some space.
"So what happened between you two?" I asked. I knew this was going to be hard for her.
"Well when Josh was little boy a few rouges attacked the pack house we were staying at. Apparently it was a vampire and rouge who attacked the Luna. The rouge got away but the vampire died in that house. I wouldn't have thought any other vampire would be in the house and I thought it was Alex so I ran away from Josh and everyone there at the house when Josh needed me most. I can't help but think this is my fault for hurting him like that" Violet said sitting me down on the bed as she looked down at her hands. I put my arm around her and hugged her from the side. My stomach began to growl as I got a little nervous but lightly laughed to lighten the mood.
"Guess it's time for dinner"
"Yeah we have stuff in the kitchen if you don't wan to go out and hunt" Violet offered.
"Sure. Once I get more into the pregnancy I won't need to digest a diet. It does the opposite of attract men" I said as we both laughed. We both got up and walked down the stairs to the kitchen. The kitchen was really big, to bad it wouldn't really be used. I sat down at the counter and waited for her to get some blood.
"Here" she said tossing it at me. I caught it and looked at the packaging. Something about it made me sick but something about it made me want it so badly. I opened the bag and drank some of red liquid. After a while a vile taste made its way to my tongue. I almost spat the blood out but downed it. I felt bile rise to my throat but kept it down.
"Vi is there something wrong with this blood?" I asked her.
"No we just got it. Why?"
"This is so gross. I can't drink this" I handed her the bag as she took a huge gulp.
"It taste fine"
"I don't I can't drink it anymore"
"Well I don't know" the door went off as did Violet to go and get it.
Yay I have finals soon -_- kill me now. With the editing I will get rid of the authors notes and the dedications and make a dedication page for those of you that made his story possible so that will come to. I think this will be fully done maybe by the end of June :) Vote and comment.
