Justin's POV

I found a sweatshirt with a logo of the docs name on it and some sweatpants. I quickly went to where I left her when I saw water on the docs. I groan and follow the drops to find them behind a building with shrubs surrounding the area. What is it with this family? Always leaving me. I smell blood and immediately think of Jayden. I jog to find her sitting in the middle of the back of the shop. I roll my eyes and toss her the clothes. They'll do for now.

"Here" I say.

"What is this?" she says examining the clothes.

"You need to be dressed when we visit the pack house"

"Okay give me a few minutes" I turn around and tap my foot slightly.

"Are you done? It's not that hard" I say looking back around as she gets the top over her head.

"I think" she says examining herself.

"Yeah looks good let's go" I say walking over to her and tugging at her hand. I drag her back to the doc and begin walking down to find where I had parked. It had been a few hours since I was here last. There was a slight drizzle in the air now and I needed to get her back to the pack house. If I couldn't convince her to come back with me maybe Jayden can. I open the door for her and wait for her to sit in the seat. I close the door once she's in and quickly walk to the driver's side. I jump into my sports car and buckle up waiting for her to copy my movements. I look at her and look to the seat belt for her to get the hint. She doesn't and I roll my eyes leaning across her and pulling it down and resting on her chest. I click the buckle in and put my hands on the wheel. I sigh and think how lucky I am to not have Blair go through this with me. We start to move as she puts her hands on the side of the car.

"What's happening why are we moving?" she asks with wide eyes.

"We're driving there" I say slowly for her to understand me as I look over her with an annoyed look.

"Well let's go" she says looking at me to continue.

"I am so glad I didn't have to do this with your sister" I mumble to her.

"She's the one who went to land before me. I'm still at seas with the ships" she says in a duh tone.

"The sooner we get to your sister the sooner you can go" I say breathing out to try and release some stress.

"What makes you think I want to go back there with my sister in rule? That was f***ing hell" she says turning in her seat.

"I see why Blair left then no one wants there" I laugh a little.

"It was forbidden, she wanted everyone to keep tradition after she learned Blair left. That was my ticket past the guards"

"So you used me then?" I say jokingly.

"Yeah" she says looking down.

"I'm joking" I say rubbing her shoulder. This is going to be my sister-in-law someday and I don't want to mess this up. I already did with Blair leaving me.

"So explain in depth why you want to be with my sister" she says looking down at her hands in her lap.

"Well I love her. She already has my child and I need to find her to tell her I love her and it kills me to be so far away" I say focusing on the road.

"Why does it kill you" she asks. I feel her look up at me with her intense gaze. We come to a stop light and I see this idiot on the phone.

"She's my- MOVE A$$hole!" I say rolling down my window and sticking my head out of the window.

"Your what?" Jayden ask confused. I'm still waiting behind this guy as I hold my middle finger to my temple.

"Mate. It's just this idiot won't move" I say starting to get angry.

"Mate?"

"I think it's why we had a little connection. With trusting and dear brother. Really Jayden?" I say looking at her as we began to finally drive.

"Seemed like a dramatic thing to do at the time" she said shrugging. I shake my head and continue down the road. We're almost to the woods and I'm getting anxious.

"A mate is like your other half. When you touch it's like a drug, it's the most addicting thing ever. And when you finally complete the mating process, you feel what they feel and always want to be with them. It's a pain in the a$$ but it's worth it" I say smiling to myself.

"Do I have one if she does?" she asks.

"I don't know" I say simply.

"When will I know if I have one?"

"You just will"

"Did she accept you?"

"I think she would've if I hadn't rejected her" I say my smile dropping. I feel a punch in my arm. Damn can she pack a punch with her tiny arms. "What was that for?"

"For rejecting her" she smiles proudly. I roll my eyes and continue and then get to a turn and turn right. We travel on the dirt for a little ways in silence. We come to a stop and we wait in the car.

"Why was it so bad there?" I ask her knowing this is a touchy subject.

"Not everyone likes our family but they hate the Josh's even more. They don't want to be near them or even mention them. My sister wanted to protect everyone so she built a heavily guarded wall and only let those who needed to feast out with a guard. I couldn't live like that so I wanted to leave" she said shrugging.

"Will you go back?" I ask her.

"Never will I ever return to that god forsaken ocean" she says as her eyes turn darker.
