Sirens Curse

Days like these are more of wondering lonely across the shore line waiting for the next victim. If you haven't heard of the mystic creatures of the sea, they're called sirens. Half mermaid half vampire. We get our hunger from vampires and beauty from mermaids. Luring men in only to be dinner. I'm Blair. Black head of hair and baby blue eyes with a pale pretty face. Full bloody lips and the perfect figure.We basically all look the same. Perfection is the only word to describe us. Tonight I was wearing a long white clearish dress as I walked down the sandy shore waiting for someone to come. The sand was soft slipping in between my toes. We trap men by singing a melody only men can hear. A soft long note rising in beauty. We lure them to a cove, of our choice, to possibly seduce and kill. When we do this our bodies change. We become ugly with razor sharp teeth and claws to tear flesh. Most sirens say its a blessing, me its a curse. I dream of love. Yeah right like that's going to happen.

Tonight was a good night. As long as my hunger for blood is satisfied, I'm satisfied. I sang my song when finally a man came. He was on a beach blanket with his girlfriend as the sun was setting. How romantic? I now sadly stripped him of his life. This is the part I hate. I took his hand giving a pained look and kept singing and looking forward. Not giving him or her a second glance. I walked to the cove and pushed him in. I pulled the rock I had at the entrance to cover and muffle what I was about to do. I only had a few lights and a bed to do my biding. I had a closet and a vanity for my school stuff. Not that I needed to go to school though. Now I'm not happy with myself about this, I would like to be a vegetarian but I'd die and I don't feel like dying at the moment. Plus humans are over populated anyway. I began kissing up his abs. His toned body would be to die for if I cared. My true form began to show as I began to dig in. His eyes grew wide and my voice stopped his trance. He began struggling as my claws dug into his forearm to hold him down. He screamed in pain as I began.

"Sorry" I whispered and extended my jaw into pointed razor sharp teeth. Unlike vampires we a have a full set, instead of two. Blood splattered everywhere. Once there was nothing left but white bones I cleaned up and went to go swim. I stripped slowly allowing the moon to light my body. Soaking in the now full moon. I walked down to where the sand met the water. My toes hit the water slightly as the water tried to reach and call to me. The water was a green-blue tonight. I began walking in as waves rolled in. We are like mermaids we love the water. Only thing is we're cold-blooded and have to drink blood, flesh and muscle of the humans. As soon as I hit the water my legs became a tale and I could breathe in the water. I dove under the big waves as my scales shimmered in the light. My tale was a black color. Signifying I was a siren. Mermaids have different colors. The coolness of the water was bliss against my skin. Tonight was perfect. The stars bright and the moon full. I could hear a lonely wolf's howl full of sadness. I sang a sorrow song that my mother used to sing as a lullaby and returned the call. After about an hour I headed to shore and found my own hamack to sleep on. I never liked to sleep in that bed.

I woke up with the sun shinning. I got up and put some short shorts on with a red flannel. I grabbed some gladiator sandals grabbed my galaxy bag and headed to school. I know school sucks, but I'm only seventeen and I have nothing better to do. I walked down the street till I was picked up by my best friend, Violet. She was a vampire with purple hair. She normally has stunning red eyes but has to wear dull blue ones to school. Her body was the perfect hour glass figure. She rolled up in her red sports car with tinted windows. I opened the car door and sat on the leather seats.

"Hey" She said.

"Hey" I replied climbing in. As we drove to school we talked and gossiped. Our school was about half werewolf, ten percent vampire and I was the only siren. The rest are human. My scent was hidden from the wolves and vampires and I smell just like a human. The only person who knows is Violet. Even if they knew what I was they would be repulsed. Supernatural creatures can see past our outer shell and look into what we do, kill any creatures for food. If they don't sense us all they see is pure beauty. When we arrived I headed to my locker to get some text books. Since I masked my sent all the boys came to me. Violet was with me too and just rolled her eyes. Boys fall for her to but everything about me invites guys in to want me more. I grabbed my books and headed to my first period. When lunch finally came I sat in the back of the lunch room with Violet. We ate in peace when a wolf came up to us. I'm guessing this was like a beta cause the alpha was sitting with, of course the school slut, Brittany. Brittany was skinny and clearly had her boobs done with her dad's money. She had really pretty brown hair but died it a dry blonde.

"You girls look a little lonely" He said smirking.

"Buzz off mutt" Violet annoyed. A growl erupted from him pointed towards violet.

"Dogs need to drop their big egos" I stated. His Alpha must not have informed them. They investigated me a while back cause I was new and I told them I already knew what they were.

"How does she know Vi?" She just rolled her eyes at him. Someone should have told him. I say in my head and roll my eyes.

"She's the only one. Go ask your big Alpha man whore over there" She said annoyed and continued picking her salad. He stomped over sitting down at his table with a huff. I was guessing he was upset the Alpha never told him. I giggled silently and continued to eat. When we were done we went to the door to exit to our next class. As we walked we heard the alpha talking with the beta that came over.

"Just pay no mind to them. They're not going for just anyone" The Alpha said as if he wanted something. His voice was firm and commanding but softened when he looked over with longing and desire. I could feel his gaze on the both of us and it made me shiver. Too bad he was a big Alpha whore. Attention goes straight to their heads. Since it was September and school just started I was a new student. Violet insisted I attend here. No one knew me but violet when she found me when I was fourteen. She's kept my secret for now.

"Justin have you see the missing persons reports? Men have gone missing without a trace. I think it's a you know what" his third in command spoke softly. I barely picked it up as we were walking out. He had a weak aura surrounding him but still more than a regular wolf. They were all well built. Justin was a black haired blue eyed guy while the beta and third were brown haired and green eyed. I left the cafeteria with worry in the pit of my stomach. I went the rest of my day thinking about those men I killed. It's getting noticed more. They might think since I was new to the school.
