Chapter Forty Nine

Genevieve’s P.O.V
After seeing Neville appear from behind the painting I smiled to myself knowing that he was alright, “Neville, oh you look-” Harry began to say to him, “like hell I reckon” he said to Harry finishing his sentence, “the bloody hell happened while I was gone” I said as I noticed the bruising on his face, “this is nothing. Seamus is worse. Hey ab, we’ve got a couple more coming through.” Neville said before I helped Neville with getting Harry, Hermione and Ron into the tunnel, “thank you Aberforth” I said with a small smile as he nodded and Ron helped me up into the tunnel as we soon followed Neville, “don’t remember this on the Marauder’s Map” Ron mentioned, “neither do I” I said looking behind us, “that’s because it never existed till now. The seven secret passages were sealed off before the start of the year. This is the only way in or out now. The grounds are crawling with Death Eaters and Dementors.” Neville told us, “How bad is Snape as Headmaster, “it wasn’t as bad before when Genevieve left but we Hardly ever see him. It’s the Carrows you need to watch out for.” Neville said, “Carrows,” Harry asked, “yeah. Brother and sister. In charge of discipline. Genevieve here helped the brother once for one of his classes. They like to punish the Carrows.” he said as he pointed to his face, “they did that to you? Why?” Hermione asked, “today’s Dark Arts lesson had us practicing the Cruciatus Curse. on the first years. I refused. Hogwarts has changed.” Neville told us, “Bloody hell, what is Snape doing?” I said, “I couldn’t agree with you more,” Ron said. 

By the time we made it to the end, we all stopped as Neville looked at the three of us, “let’s have a bit of fun shall we?” he said before opening the painting, “hey, listen up you lot. Brought you a surprise” Neville said to whoever was on the other side, “not more of Aberforth’s cooking I hope. Be a surprise if we can digest it” we heard Seamus say before Neville moved out of the way to show them that we were here as they all began to cheer before we all climbed down the ladder and began to hug everyone, “okay, okay let’s not kill him before You-Know-Who” Neville said as everyone moved away to give him some room, “so, what’s the plan Harry” Neville asked as Harry looked about the room, “okay, there’s something we need to find. Something hidden here in the Castle. And it may help us defeat You-Know-Who” Harry said to everyone, “right, what is it?” Neville asked, “we don’t know” Harry answered, “where is it?” Neville asked, “we don’t know that either” Harry answered again, “I realize it’s not much to go on.” Harry said, “that’s nothing to go on” Seamus spoke up, “It probably has something to do with Ravenclaw. Um, it’ll be small, easily concealed. Anyone any ideas” Harry said as everyone thought about it and I thought about Ravenclaw's Diadem and realized I wasn’t the only one who thought of it, “well there’s Rowena Ravenclaw's lost Diadem” she said, “oh bloody hell here we go” Ron whispered, “oh shut up I was thinking the same thing” I whispered to him, “lost diadem of Ravenclaw. Hasn’t anyone heard of it? It’s quite famous” Luna said seeing if anyone knew about it, “I’ve heard about it but from what I remember the last person who’s seen it last is dead and no one alive has been able to recover it in centuries” I said to her, “Genevieve’s right Luna, it’s lost, for Centuries now. There’s isn’t a person alive today who’s seen it” Cho said, “excuse me. Can somebody tell me what a bloody Diadem is?” Ron asked wondering, “it’s a sort of crown” Cho said, “Like a tiara” I said finishing the sentence until we heard something and seen Ginny rushing in, “Harry” she said as the both of them just stared at each other, “Hi there” Harry answered, “six months she hasn’t seen me and it’s like I’m Frankie First Year, I’m her brother” Ron said and I chuckled a little, “she’s got lots of those. There’s only one Harry” Seamus said, “shut up Seamus” Ron said and I continued to chuckle, “but you know he’s right” I said to him and he shook his head, “what is it Ginny” Neville asked, “Snape knows. He knows that Harry was spotted in Hogsmeade.” she answered and we all just looked at Harry before figuring out what to do.

Not long after the Students had walked into the Great Hall, I had snuck in myself after getting the Order of the Phoenix inside after killing a few Death Eaters that were Guarding the school as I was also wearing a teacher’s robe as I stood next to Madam Pomfrey, “Bloody hell, I thought you were gone for good” she whispered to me, “don’t worry Madam Promfrey, nobody can get rid of me that easily” I said to him before Professor Snape began to speak, “Many of you are surely wondering why I have summoned at this hour. It’s come to my attention that earlier this evening, Harry Potter was sighted in Hogsmeade.” he said and the students began to whisper amongst themselves, “is this true” Madam Promfrey said to me and I just nodded before Snape had the students quiet down, “Now, should anyone, student or staff, attempt to aid Mr. Potter, they will be punished in a manner consistent with the severity of their transgression. Furthermore, any person found to have Knowledge of these events, who fails to come forward, will be treated as equally guilty. Now then if anyone here has any knowledge of Mr. Potter’s movements this evening, I invite them to step forward. Now.” he said to everyone and no one stepped forward until Harry came out from the Gryffindor section and stood in front of Snape and I soon walked up behind him, “it seems, despite your exhaustive defensive strategies, you still have a bot of Security Problem Headmaster.” h said to him as we soon heard the Order walk in, “and you have me to thank for that Professor,” I said loud enough for everyone to hear, “and I’m afraid it’s quite extensive. How dare you stand where he stood, tell them how it happened that night. Tell them how you looked him in the eye, a man who trusted you, and killed him. Tell them” Harry said with anger and just as Professor Snape took out his wand ad pointed it at the both of us, Aunt Minerva moved us out of the way and I stayed in front of Harry as I pointed my Wand at Snape, “don’t you dare raise your Wand at my Niece, nor at Harry” she said to him as he lowered his wand for a second before raising it back up at Aunt Minerva and soon after she was the first to make a move and continued as Snape blocked every spell she casted towards him as the Two Death Eaters behind him ended up dead and before we knew it he flew through the large window and left, “COWARD” Aunt Minerva shouted as everyone in the room cheered except for the Slytherins until both Aunt Minerva and I noticed Harry fall to the floor and we just looked at each other in worry, “Potter” I heard her say, “Harry what’s wrong” I said after and that was when everything went cold.
