Realizing the danger you could be putting yourself in by letting her have the knife, you suddenly lunge for it, and just as you pick it up, Maria turns towards you.
"Ge-!", her words are cut short.
In her reckless turn, she did not realize how close you were, the knife went right past her ribs and into her lungs. You immediately let go of the knife and back away. Maria looks down at the knife and hovers her hands around it, she's in complete shock. Her hands shake violently as she tries to say something, but all she does is cough up blood. She attempts to sit down on the floor but ends up falling. Maria tries to catch herself, but her arms are now too weak to support her body and they immediately give out. She slumps down under the sink as a pool of blood starts to form around her.
She looks up at you, tears are streaming from her eyes, she reaches out to you, "Help me..."
And with those final words, her arm goes limp and falls by her side.
End.
