The bard was at a loss for words to describe the horrific scene, his vocabulary at this point in his life was so lacking that countless words to describe evil and sin crossed his mind, but none of them was enough to describe this monstrous mass of flesh writhing and finally twisting into shape. It was a horror beyond human imagination, a twisted, unshaped mass of flesh where the features could be called a face. The upper half of the body covered in tiny tentacles, each with a myriad of suction cups and sharp-toothed mouthparts, like octopus tentacles or human armpits.
The lower half, if that's what you can call it, was a myriad of human-like tentacles that supported the ghastly, frighteningly heavy body, allowing it to walk around the room in a maddening manner, leaving behind slimy tissue everywhere it passed, the soft carpeted floor becoming like a snail crawling across a wet, dank verdigris floor. Lederer watched the hideous creature, watched it refuse Kate's sacrifice, watched it move around the room, walk among its faithful followers, and then make an incomprehensible noise.
All he could feel was a dizzying sensation, and the world before him became fragmented. What was this?
Why on earth had such a terrible being appeared in this world?
Why had he never discovered such a horrible truth in the previous ten years?
Never before had Lederer had such a splitting headache, never before had he been so eager to escape, to turn back the clock, to escape from this town at first sight, so that he might not have to face this horror at all.
Lederer swooned and passed out.
Inside the room, there was nothing but excitement and ecstasy among the faithful.
"God!!! God has awakened! It is our piety that has awakened the gods!"
The house was filled with loud cheers from the devotees as Zen manipulated the projection of the ancient god to begin moving around the house, communicating with the devotees as the huge, bloated, fleshy mountain-like monster cast thick shadows across the room. Kaye watched in shock as the god awoke early, too stunned to react for a moment. He stood on the steps and watched as Zen manipulated the fleshy mountain monster down the steps, rushing after him to offer Him his heart as a sacrifice.
But to his surprise, the god refused.
Kaye, who had been given countless words of knowledge by the gods, heard the repetition of highly contaminating murmurs from the gods as flexible tentacles reached out from the bloated fleshy body and darted towards him. No longer in the gentle and affectionate manner of his first summoning, but with a heavy blow as if resenting his touch and proximity. After being slapped away by Kesu's tentacles, Kate was knocked over by the heavy force and could only manage to brace herself and remove her beak mask with a look of disbelief and devastating despair on her face.
How could this be?
He was the god's favourite believer, why would the great God do this to him?
Unable to comprehend what was happening in front of him, his senses were shaken, and as he watched the gods reject his sacrifice, Kaye went mad, falling to his knees and begging loudly for forgiveness. Why have you rejected me ......"
Kaye had originally planned to turn this room of townspeople into the Lord's dependents, but did not expect that the god had awakened early, nor did he anticipate that the god would be so cold and even ...... disgusted with himself after his awakening.
No! No! This can't be!!!
God would not be disgusted with him !!!!
Kaye shook his head frantically, covering his head and muttering, once again reinforcing his faith.
