The outskirts of City B
Outside the remote village, the roads are old and cracked, the yellow sand is flying, and the hoarse cries of crows are heard from time to time. If it weren't for a few scrapped, streamlined, futuristic cars on the side of the road, he would have wondered if he had travelled back to Earth. As he got closer, he saw from the entrance of the village that it was sparsely populated and the sand was gusting, making it rather bleak.
Zen couldn't help but wonder, would anyone really buy insurance here?
"Hey, how come these cars are parked here?"
Zen was just about to walk into the village when he heard Xin Yun's voice with surprise. Turning his head to look, he found Xin Yun walking to the roadside where the cars were parked? He was surprised when he saw a few large cars with signs of damage.
"These cars, they look like armoured vehicles ......"
The company's main business is to provide a wide range of products and services to the public.
"Like me? It's very similar to the kind of vehicles for military use that I've seen on forums before ......" said Xin Yun, and took out his phone to compare.
"It's too rare to see ...... no one in the car, why aren't these cars being recalled by the military?"
The car was found to have bullet holes and tear marks on it, and it was suspected that a fierce gun battle had taken place.
Was this kind of car rare?
After hearing Xin Yun's words, Zen took a look at the car, unable to understand Xin Yun's excitement at this moment. He vaguely remembered that he had seen this kind of car several times, with a large, streamlined cabin, more common than any other car on the road. Whether it was near the underground, near a university town, or near a hospital, all of these cars were on the road.
"......"
After a while, Xin Yun, who had just about turned the car upside down, stood up straight with embarrassment and led Zen to continue towards the village.
"I'm really sorry, I'm a military fan, I'm a bit sensitive to this kind of stuff. We'd better go about our business first, I'll come back to check it out when we're done!" Xin Yun was full of guilt, apologizing for the delay he had just caused.
Zen said that he was fine, he didn't care about such trivial matters.
He sighed in his heart, this senior called Xin Yun was indeed a very nice person. There was no need to apologise for such a trivial matter. But I think I know that this is the aftermath of his previous life, and there is nothing Zen can do about it.
The two of them soon entered the village.
The village was just like what they had seen at the entrance of the village, the roads were empty, the doors of the houses were closed and there was not even a barking dog, the silence was a bit seeping. There was no sign of the mobile theatre mentioned in the information, and the two of them wandered around the village for half a day without finding it. Xin Yun, who was in charge of leading the way, looked around with some confusion, not knowing what to do. It was different from what the information said, and he didn't know what to do for a while. This was the first time he had taken a junior on a sales trip, and it would be a shame if he couldn't even find the place.
"I blame my own incompetence."
He didn't even dare to look back for fear of seeing Zen's disappointed and disdainful gaze. Although, behind him, he just pretended that he was on a tour, looking up at the crows as they passed by. And just as Xin Yun was feeling embarrassed and self-conscious, he suddenly saw the only open door in the village, a quaint temple.
