The giant eye that had hung itself from the traffic light went into a faint stiffness as it took in the human in front of it.

Rumble - !!!

The thunder roared as the storm clouds changed colour. The world in its eyes was instantly eerie, so eerie that every optic nerve and blood vessel in the giant eye trembled. Lightning flashed in the sky, and a thick fog enveloped the entire human city, reducing visibility to a distance of a dozen metres or so, and it was faintly possible to make out countless huge shadows of strange shapes coming from nearby. And right in the centre of this eerie world, in the middle of the giant eye's field of vision, a tiny human-like figure stood silently.

The huge shadows in the fog clustered around him, bringing with them a sense of both visual and spiritual oppression. It should have been a human who should have obeyed the rules of [Slingshot] and should have been devoured. However, the giant eyes were dumbfounded to see the seemingly small human raise his head and look straight at himself with a face hidden by the veil of nameless mist. The tumbling mist formed his body, and a vast celestial light shone out of it as if a universe were hidden within it.

An inexpressible terror is born out of his fluctuating emotions, and every movement arouses a deep-seated fear in the soul of the beholder, simply because he is fear itself. The gaze is filled with an ancient aura that seems to have come from the beginning of the universe, giving the giant eye the feeling that it is peering into the most terrible secrets of the world. The trembling and unprecedented fear made it freeze in place and completely cancel out the special effect caused by the [Slingshot].

With great difficulty, it slowly and unobtrusively slumped back to its original position against the gaze of this terrifying being. As if it hadn't seen anything, pretending that it was just a red light, that it had just been a routine programmed undulation.

And at that moment, Zen was still looking at it.

Giant Eye: "......"

Zen's eyes moved with the movement of the giant eye as it plopped back down, looking at it expressionlessly for a while, making the giant eye wince before withdrawing his gaze. He simply found the eyeball lying on its back on the traffic light interesting. It was the first time he had seen a traffic light of this style. He remembered that he had occasionally seen the slogan "Reshaping the City" on the underground billboards, and thought that this might be the government's new and fanciful decoration.

A giant eyeball to remind drivers to watch out for the traffic lights, the government has gone to great lengths to do so.

But once the novelty wore off, Zen lost interest.

He looked down at the navigation on his phone, and what bothered him so far was that the client called [Giant Eye] was supposed to be in the area, but he didn't see it.

Wait, [Giant Eye]?

With a flash of inspiration, he lifted his head and looked at the Giant Eye again, walking over to it with some hesitation.

Perhaps, the [Giant Eye] was this?

At this moment, Yin Wen and Xiao Wang on the other side of the street looked across at everything and fell into confusion. The two were still in fear, afraid that in case that passer-by was really a ghost, in which case they would be devoured by the [Giant Eye] as the first object of hatred. But immediately afterwards, the act of the giant eye lying back down again really baffled the two of them, and their thoughts were completely confused.

"...... Why? [Giant Eye] didn't attack?"

Yin Wen looked at the motionless Giant Eye not far away and his face twisted up in anger. He gripped the slingshot in his hand, suspecting that the prop had failed. It was true that psychic props were not guaranteed to take effect 100% of the time, but the likelihood of that was pitifully low, and Yin Wen hadn't expected at all that he would run into a failure when he had used the prop for the first time in a long time. How come he was so unlucky to have a psychic encounter yesterday, but this ordinary man managed to stay unscathed after facing the [Giant Eye] head-on!
