The sky was dark and gloomy under the smoke of the battle, and in its wake, the land was devastated. The beams of light covered the ground with destroyed buildings and the charred remains of the machines. A formerly prosperous mechanical city has been reduced to a bleak post-apocalyptic landscape.
Amidst the rubble, a multitude of desperate mechanical bodies is reaching for the sky in the distance, as if praying for some impossible salvation. The surviving robots crawled out of the rubble and looked at what was before them, the world turning bloodshot in their electronic eyes. They cried out in pain, their electronic eyes flashing, sparks of electricity representing damage appearing on their bodies, their cries turning the speakers hot.
"Bionic man! It's all the Bionic's fault!!!"
"...... Ally! My wife! Don't leave me!!!"
"No--!!! Why ...... why did this happen ......"
The robots searched the rubble for the remains of their loved ones, unwilling to stop even when they exhausted their mechanical arms to the point of almost breaking. No one could believe that an era of advanced technology could be destroyed in just one day, by the hands of a lowly bionic man. The eyes of every cyborg were tinged with resentment. They couldn't understand why a lowly race created by the Mechanics would turn on their masters. It was they who had given those flesh and blood consciousness, the right to live and breathe.
And this is how these foul flesh and blood repay them!
"Those disgusting! Ungrateful flesh-and-bloods! The most shameless and despicable beings in the world!"
So spat a cyborg.
He hissed loudly, looking for any bionic beings that might be in the ruins and ready to vent his anger on them. After all, last night's planet-wide holographic projection had said it all, that the blonde-haired, black-eyed bionic man was behind everything, that it had planned everything and caused this tragedy. Now, with the whole planet in shambles, they will find the culprit and cut it into pieces and experience the most painful thing in the world to make up for it!
"That's right! Destroy all the bionic beings! Destroy the evil Bionic Man!"
"Where are the Bionicles? I want revenge for my wife and loved ones!"
Many of the robots were roused to anger, bracing their weakened bodies as they tried to search the rubble for the Bionts who had not died in the beam blast. However, before the cyborgs could find them and mete out punishment, the whole city was heard to shake and inexplicable murmurs rang out. The cyborgs looked around in bewilderment and saw a scarlet thread approaching on the distant horizon.
What was it?
No cyborg knew.
They felt an inexplicable sense of dread, and the murmuring in their ears annoyed them so much that they wanted to plug their ears.
"...... What is that!!!"
"Blood and flesh!!!"
It took a moment before the Mechanics finally saw what was on the horizon, which turned out to be not some scarlet thread, but a flood-like wave of blood and flesh that was advancing along the horizon towards the interior of the city, staining all the land and buildings a horrible scarlet of writhing blood and flesh as if it were corrupting the earth.
"Damn it! Run! That flesh and blood will swallow people!!! RUN!!!"
"Ahhhhhhh!!! Help me! Help me!!! I'm trapped! Help me!!!
