As the dark shadows approached, Del finally saw them for what they really were, a horde of monsters that could not be named!
He was so horrified by the sight of the flesh-like faces and the soft, slippery limbs of these monsters that his mind, already unstable from the knowledge of the truth, became even more unstable as he crawled out of the cellar and grabbed the axe he carried with him, ready to kill his way out.
"Something is wrong with this monster ......."
Captain Qi Fang approached the garden and at a glance, he saw the monster standing in front of the cellar, it was an insect covered in armour with ant-like tentacles and something seemed to be wriggling behind it. Qi Fang took a closer look and found that this monster actually had many tentacles growing out of its back, which looked very different from those monsters in the manner just now and had an even more bizarre and terrifying appearance.
"Shoot it from a distance, don't get close to it easily!" Qi Fang calmly said to his team, he was experienced, the first choice to deal with this obviously special monster was naturally to attack from a distance to test it out, getting close easily would only lead to unpredictable consequences and probably heavy casualties.
"Yes!" The long-haired girl standing aside, Ranchi, took out a laser gun and decisively shot at Del, who was not far away.
Del heard the monsters communicating with each other, sending out words of unknown meaning, and then saw an incredibly bright light coming towards him, he subconsciously felt that something was wrong, so he quickly moved his position, trying to avoid the light by walking, but he did not expect the light to turn around.
A huge gash ripped through the middle of Del's torso and blood and guts spilt out, and he looked down in disbelief at the bloody hole in his body and the tentacles that had flared up behind him with excitement. Del didn't know what the tentacles were behind him, and he couldn't think any further as his body swayed and he fell to the ground unconscious.
Qi Fang frowned at the fallen monster and made a gesture for his teammates to stay away for the time being, before completely dropping his heart after seeing the kill count on the main god panel increase by one and going up to touch something on the corpse. Usually, some valuable props would drop from such special monsters, and they naturally wouldn't miss them. They soon got an axe, a cross, an amulet, a black notebook, and a brass key.
None of them was of any value, and the group threw them aside in disappointment, leaving only the black notebook, which contained things of slight value that they were going to study in order to get a feel for the storyline of this copy.
The Real World
[You have died.]
Zen looked at the blood-red alert text on the game page and stopped his hand from moving on the keyboard in shock, feeling the urge to slam it. He watched as the few humanoid monsters that had killed his character walked over to his corpse to pick it up, and threw the contents of his backpack everywhere, quite literally mocking himself for having nothing good.
Zen fell in silent, the corners of his mouth twitching slightly as he pulled up the guide and flipped to the end without finding any hints for this level. This ordinary old-European style puzzle game actually appeared in the future technology, a laser gun that can turn! He suspected that this was a hidden plotline in the game and guessed that the game designer might have had a brain fart that the Faceless God was actually an alien, which is why the main character was killed so easily and had no amount of positioning would help.
Although he wanted to complain about the design of the game, Zen was still compulsive about getting through the true ending. Only after the true ending can the evil god truly recover and the following can start to play a game of ghost hunting as the evil god chasing the protagonist around the manor.
