*the task force is chilling in the living room watching a scary movie, and everyone is sitting on the sofa except Light who is sitting in a recliner on his own.
Lucas: What better way to celebrate Halloween than watch a scary movie?

*suddenly, the news interrupts, it's the Muppet newsman*
Muppet Newsman: *on tv* Here's a Muppet news flash!
Josephine: What could be going on?
Muppet Newsman: Our news room today has been flooded with calls saying the furniture around town has been turning into monsters!
Light: Oh please! Who's gonna believe that?
Muppet Newsman: A dining room table set for eight reportedly ate the eight it was set for.
Lucas: EVERYBODY STAND UP!!!
*everyone except Light stands up*
Light: C'mon, you don't really believe that crap do yo—YAAAAAAAA!!! *he gets sucked into and consumed by the recliner, which has come to life, it has eyes and teeth and growls*
Everyone: !!!! *they slowly look over at the sofa, which also has come to life *
Lucas: EVERYBODY OUT!!!! *they all run out screaming, the recliner, the sofa, and a lamp chase after them*
Josephine: *runs at the chair with a crowbar, smacks it in the back, it spits out Light*
Light: You do NOT wanna go in there!
*they continue running, they run out the door, as does the furniture. They notice furniture monsters walking all around town attacking people. Then the task force runs back in and locks the door*
L: That was close!
*they go back into the living room to see if the news is giving more info *
Muppet Newsman: Experts are saying not to be alarmed, your furniture will not turn into a monster.
Light: OH BULLSHIT! *standing right in front of the tv, turns around*
Light: Well NOW what? This is happening all over town!
*behind him, the picture on the tv glitches*
Light: We'll have to fend for ourselves!
*The tv goes out*
Lucas: Uh...Light?
Light: We can't live on the Planet of the Couches!
*The tv grows teeth over the screen*
Josephine: Light?
Light: This is war!
*A pair of angry eyes pop up on top of the tv*
Matsuda: Light?
Light: WHAT?!
Everyone: *points*
Light: !!! *Slowly turns around, sees the tv peering down at him snarling* YAAAAAA!!!! *His eyes pop out of his head like in cartoons*
*The tv jumps down to eat him but Josephine pulls him out of the way, the tv falls over, then gets up, snarling at everyone*
Lucas: *runs in with a baseball bat and bashes it repeatedly screaming*
*It's now in pieces*
Lucas: There, it's dead. Now then. *Presses a button, flipping a wall over revealing weapons, he grabs a shotgun* Everybody gear up. Light's right. We've gotta fend for ourselves!
