"Good morning" Emily's lips grazed over mine.
"Good morning is right" I smirked back.
She rolled out of bed and wasted no time getting ready.
"I've gotta head to the jet a bit earlier, but you can ride over with the rest of the team." she smiled as she buttoned her pants.
"Oh, ok," I agreed, slightly confused as to why she needed to get to the jet early, but I didn't question it. She quickly kissed my cheek.
   "I'll see you soon"
I nodded as the door closed. I took my time getting ready, and as I did, flashes of last night raced through my mind. Alex. My thoughts were starting to get the best of me so I decided I wanted to take a cab and meet Emily at the jet.
As I entered the lobby I found Alex standing there.
"Shit" I huffed under my breath as I walked up to her.
"Morning." her tone was cold and bitter.
"morning." I replied, matching her voice. "What are you doing down here so early?"
"I'm heading to the jet now. You?" she asked.
   "So was I."
"well then let's just take a car instead of two cabs." she mumbled. Though I didn't want to, it made the most sense, and the jet was under a ten minute drive.
"Ok," I started to follow her out. The drive was silent. Not a single word exchanged in eight minutes. It was brutal, but somehow we made it. I started making my way on to the plane, when I heard an odd noise coming from inside.
"Emily?" I called out as I entered.
My heart nearly stopped. There was JJ, topless, straddling Emily. Both of their eyes darted to me.
"Y/n, wait," Emily started nervously, but whatever she had to say I didn't want to hear any part of it. I spun around, running into Alex, who was also just as shocked as I was.
"I-I I gotta go" I panicked as I raced off. I stood at the bottom of the steps, nearing the point of vomiting.
"What the fuck is wrong with you two!" I heard Alex scream. "What the actual fuck is wrong with you!"
I heard footsteps approaching behind me and I quick turned to find Alex, her hand on my back.
   "Hey," she said gently.
Our eyes locked and I burst into tears.
"I'm not flying on that plane I can't." I sobbed as I buried my face into her chest.
Her hand held the back of my head comfortingly.
"You don't have to. We'll catch a flight." she said reassuringly. Then Emily came racing down the steps.
"Y/n, please" she began approaching us.
I mumbled 'no' into Alex's chest and she was quick to turn around, holding me behind her back, using herself as a shield.
   "Emily, go away." she snapped.
"Get away from my girlfriend Blake!" Emily yelled.
"You lost the right to call her that" Alex shot back. I was shocked at Alex's instinct to defend me, especially after everything.
"Blake you're on thin ice!" Emily barked.
"Fuck off Emily. I'm not your girlfriend and you are the last person I want to talk to right now!" I shouted out from behind Blake. That seemed to have done the trick, since I didn't hear another word from Emily. Alex turned around to face me,
"let's get out of here ok?" she took my hand in hers and we walked back to the car. We both got into the car and she started to drive.
"I'll see if we can get our rooms at the hotel for one more night. We can fly out tomorrow." she said, as I continued to cry.
As we pulled into the parking lot, the team was starting to leave.
"I can't do this" I mumbled as I buried my face into my hands.
"Give me a minute, you can wait in the car." she said before shutting the car door.
About ten minutes later she returned handing me a room key.
"I told the team you were sick and didn't want to fly today so I offered to stay with you one more night. I was able to get us two rooms."
I nodded and took the key from her. The room seemed darker than how I remembered, but I wasn't in a cheery mood either. I flopped on the bed and let the tears stream down my cheeks until the drowsiness got the best of me.
six hours later
I woke and felt disgusting so I hoped in the shower. The burning water felt good on my skin as I let it wash the events from earlier off of me. As I wrapped the towel around me, I checked my phone and found I had twelve missed phone calls from Emily. I rolled my eyes and powered my phone all the way off. Once I got dressed into some sweats, I decided to go check on Alex, mainly because I wanted to thank her for being so nice.
"Hey" I smiled weakly as she opened the door.
"hey, how are you?" she asked, waving me in.
"Better. I feel so stupid though." I admitted.
"Y/n, you have nothing to feel stupid about. This is on Emily." she said plainly.
"Yeah, but not just about that..." I paused, nervous to meet her eyes.
"Ok, then what about?" she asked confused.
"About how I treated you. It was wrong and I am sorry." I said.
She sighed,
"It's ok. You did what you thought was best." she quickly dismissed.
   "Yeah, but.." I paused.
   "But what?" Alex asked eagerly.
"I-I uh, should go. I'll see you in the morning." I mumbled as I turned to go towards the door.
"Why did you really come here? Is there something you need to say? Because I can't deal with the games Y/n." her voice was exhausted. And not knowing what to say, I resumed walking out the door. As the door clicked behind me I stopped. I knew exactly what I wanted to say, but the problem was whether or not it was something Alex wanted to hear....
