For the Love of Loki

She woke to loki humming to himself, she felt as if this was a dream that she was still having to force her heart to beat, that she was dead. but she asked loki, "is this a dream? I'm dead aren't I?"
"No no my dear, you're well and alive."
She felt so light, like a burden had been lifted off of her. loki looked down on her, casting a shadow over her face.
"You broke me annabelle seeing you lifeless like that"
"Loki, I love you and I wish that you had never gone through that, for if it was you I wouldn't be able to bear it."
tony walked in, "morning lovebirds."
he poured the nutrient mixture into her supply leading to her feeding tube.
"Breakfast kid, eat up."
She let a tear fall.
Why couldn't she be good enough?
loki somberly looked to her.
Tony said, "sorry kid but this tube is gonna be in ya for six weeks to two months"
and he left.
Loki said, "hey we can get through this together ok?."
"Ok.Loki I love you"
"And I darling."
"You know how long I've waited for someone to say that to me?" She said.
"Eternity" he replied
he got up tugging her with him to breakfast.
He coaxed the food into annabelle and ate also. they decided that they wanted to go on a trip.
"Loki if I'm immortal, I want to go back to earth and travel the world. would you come with me?"
"I'd love to annabelle dear."
He helped her pack her small bag of things, and helped her through the bifrost landing in central park. When they returned to the tower she was tackled in hugs. after catching up, loki asked her,
"So where to?"
