Her mind was swirling, of all these emotions she felt. couldn't comprehend all of this and tears began to stream down her face, happy or sad she didn't know, she just felt. anything and everything. Loki picked her up under her arms, carried her ankle deep in the waves rushed around his ankles. Loki gripped her tight, whispering, "it's ok I love you," over and over again. the gray water rising around her now ankles buried in the sand beneath... she looked at Loki and said, " I love you so much, to infinity and back, forever upon forever and could not even compress my feelings for you, so much, all that love brought me to tears. Loki you are a miracle a one and infinity chance of meeting you both of us dragging out the bad and bringing the good. and I am so fortunate that I got to wake from my slumber of black depression and get to spent eternity with you. forever, Loki. I get to make love with you and bear your children, and spend forever with love and resting in that love with you."
The grey water around her ankles disappeared finding herself picked up by Loki to match his stature, and he kissed her. he mustered all of the unsaid words and unshared feelings into one kiss. His lashes fluttered exposing the emeralds buried within his eyes, and inquired "shall we get back to our picnic?" Annabelle looked at him and said," I think we shall."
They consumed the food brought, relishing in the freshness of it all, breathing in the salty air and then began their trek to the cabin. the sun had begun to sink in the sky creating gorgeous hues, and they were about halfway to the cabin when Loki grabbed her hands and stopped.
"Annabelle, I have something for you" he the spun her around clasping the chain around her neck. it was a silver chain, and on it was a bit of his helmet pounded into a heart. she couldn't even think. it made her night, and soon he said "so you'll always have a piece of me" and she grasped the lapels of his leather ansemble and pulled him tightly to her, expressing her gratitude in the one peat she knew how. he then picked her up and headed to the cabin, hearing the radio left on from this morning. the song I have nothing by Whitney Houston was playing and loki bowed gracefully on the porch. " May I have this dance, fair maiden?"
she replied "you shall"
She placed her hand on his shoulder, Loki's arm going around her frame. he lifted Annabelle up onto his toes and began to waltz and the small porch, dipping and turning, twisting and gliding.
