She walked out to meet loki.
They walked down the sidewalk, heading to a fancy Italian place. she felt a hand yank her to a ally
No not again
She felt a needle. drugs?
"Let me go."
She felt the injection in her, and she felt drowsy, she called out for loki, him taking her back to the tower.

She woke to pumps and tubes and screens. she hated iv's.
"Annabelle,"
"There's uh something we need to tell you,um you are pregnant. but not with a real child. an illusion, nonexistent image, you'll carry the image for nine months. but you'll never birth. it's dangerous because of your thinness and weight."
"I-I" she starts crying."i can't do this Bruce is there any-"
"No annabelle, because it's an image, it cannot be aborted. I'm sorry"
Loki holds her hand an says," you won't be alone, you'll have me. and of course, the avengers."
He wipes her tears, kissed her forehead and says "it'll be alright."
Bruce showed the test of the drug she was injected with, saying it was a cruel experiment.
"The ultrasound showed the image, the mirage, seeing it shimmer, and flicker.
"The victims, will become attached then when there is no birth, they will be broken, depressing the women and or killing them out of fragility."
Annbelle lifted her shirt, thinking, " I'm sorry image. but I wish you weren't in me."
"So no fighting, no pointe, just rest. you'll need your strength to stay alive on your own."
"ok"
"Annabelle, remember it's not real."
she nodded.
Loki helped her up,"annabelle, would you like to go on a date with me?"
"Sure loki," she then hunched over and began to vomit.
"its not real, it's not real." she cried over and over again loki, holding her long undone hair.

Annabelle was losing
more weight, not on purpose but because nothing would stay down. she was about a month along a small bump potruding from her bony middle.
Loki has gone on two dates with annabelle, but still taking care of her illness.
What if she can't fight it?
