HAVE YOU EVER wanted something so bad that you knew you can't have it? Well, for me it was always peace and love.
Of course, I wanted other things too but peace and love were the only two things that I always wanted.
You see, my life wasn't always easy. I had a lot of traumatizing occurrences happening to me. I had a lot of people who played me. I had a lot of people use me for their own benefit.
Nonetheless, I still have my best friend who moved across the world with me just to be there for me when no one was. I have a supportive family with who I can seek advice if I ever need one.
I can't say that I'm always happy with my life even when everything at the moment seems perfect. There is still a big part inside of me who is unhappy and broke.
My fake smile covers most of my unhappiness. From the outside, I look like a very talkative and joyful person, but from the inside, I'm broken and everything is dark.
I can most definitely say that my life changed for the better in some parts.
I have an amazing job as a Doctor in an amazing Hospital here in Sicily. I won the Olympics in Figure Skating last year as a member of the Olympic Italian Figure Skating team. I'm living with my best friend in a big and cozy apartment in the middle of Palermo in Sicily. We also have a dog named Zeus. He's a brown Siberian Husky with bright blue eyes.
I'm even seeing someone right now.
His name is Donatello Vino. He's working for my father and my family. As their sniper.
Well, now he's working for my cousin, Enzo.
He's now the leader of the Italian Mafia. My father and uncle retired both and gave him their position.
Enzo and I haven't talked to each other in a long time. We of course text each other to see if we are still alive but he lives in the States with his girlfriend... I mean fiancee. And her name is Gianna
I don't know if I should be happy for them or not. I want to be happy but only for him. Not for her.
You see after I finished Medical School, I met Gianna. I knew that they both were dating and I heard a lot of her but I never personally met her until I finished Medical School. They both moved to Italy and that is how everything started.
I never gave her a reason to hate me.
Well, that changed when she started showing me how much she hated me. I don't know what I did to her in the last five years for her to hate me that much.
Their wedding is soon which I'm invited to of course.
''What are you thinking about, stellina,'' (little star) Donatello asked me while caressing the skin on my arm. We both were watching a movie with a lot of blankets around us and food. Zeus was curled up in a ball on the floor sleeping.
