❦Está Dañada - Ivan Cornejo❦-------
GROANING, I opened my eyes slowly. I noticed to was laying in a hospital bed while the IV tube was connected with my arm. I feel like some kind of déjà vu.
I felt someone grab my hand, so I turned my head to the side and saw a worried Axel looking down at me. "Thank God you're awake," he sighed as he leaned down and placed a small kiss on my hand. "I was worried that you won't wake up," he lifted my hand and moved it to his face.
Seeing him so worried I decided to pull a prank on him just for fun.
I gently pulled my hand away from him and furrowed my brows, looking at him. "Ehm... Sir, who are you?" as I asked that you could see how the color of his face faded away. His jaw slightly dropped.
"Baby..." he stood up from his seat, shocked and worried at the same time. "It's me, Axel," I shook my head in confusion.
"I-I don't know you," Axel stepped away and then walked out of the room. When the door closed, I started giggling.
Not even a few seconds later, I heard the door open up. "No, I'm telling you she said that she doesn't know me," he walked in with a doctor and a nurse.
When they turned to look at me I said. "Axel, I've been waiting for you," his eyes widened but his face just showed pure confusion.
"But—you just said—you couldn't..." I started laughing my ass off as he realized what was happening.
He turned to the Doc and said he was sorry for the misunderstanding. He and the nurse just chuckled. "It's okay. Everyone needs a good laugh once in a while," he assured, tapping on Axel's shoulder.
The Doc stepped closer and the nurse walked out of the room while Axel narrowed his eyes at me. I couldn't keep my giggling to myself, so I let it out.
"Good, you're away so now I can tell you what happened," the Doc said as he readjusted the IV on my arm.
Axel sat back down on the chair he was previously sitting on and waited for the Doc to talk.
"The reason for your fainting and your symptoms are because of the pregnancy you had," I gulped as he mentioned my pregnancy that I wanted to forget so bad.
"Your body is still progressing the loss of your baby so it still thinks you are pregnant that's why you felt not good and fainted. It's a normal reaction from the body," he explained.
