I JUST STARED AT HIM. I didn't know what to say to him or if he is real. From what I know I could be hallucinating due to the lack of hydration and food.
Yeah, I'm definitely hallucinating.
Turning my head to Aaliyah, I saw she was as shocked as I was about this whole situation that we are currently facing.
"Shouldn't you be dead?" she asked with a raised brow.
I looked back at Alec who was smirking. "Yes, and No," he retorted. His smirk turned into a worried pout.
"Listen, we don't have all day. They don't know that I'm here and I want it to stay that way. I can't risk everything right now," he explained as he looked around the hallway.
"Let's move. My car is outside in the woods," he turned around and began walking down the hallway. I looked at Aaliyah to see what she is saying but that girl already decided for herself and followed him.
I caught up with them and made sure no one followed us, looking behind me and at every door that we passed.
I don't know where Alec was bringing us but it was a long way out of here. I wasn't quite sure if he knew where he was going either but I should trust him because he somehow came in here without anyone seeing him.
"Should we really trust him? I mean he could be working with them? Or he isn't Alec and he's just wearing a mask to hide his true identity or he's a ghost that came to save us," I blinked a few times to understand what she just said.
"A ghost?" I asked with a raised brow. She nodded. "These days everything exists," she confidently said with her chin high up. I shook my head in amusement with a small smile on my face.
I love her.
After a few minutes, we got to the door where Alec opened it up and held it open for us to enter but before we could enter it gunshots started to fly and howled through the whole hallway. I crouched down with Aaliyah while Alec began shooting his gun. He then pushed us inside, which made me turn around.
Sila stood her with a gun in his hands and a smirk on his face. Then the door closed and I couldn't see him anymore.
"Fuck," Alec cursed. "Why is he here? I thought he isn't here," he roughly went through his hair and paced around the hallway we were in. I just realized we were in here.
