I SLAMMED THE DOORS open and walked in with big steps towards Enzo, who stood right at the front desk from the hospital with crossed arms. ''Before you start to yell around and ask where Bella is, I want to let you know that I send my men to your Warehouse to finish everything there. That means we capture the last few men of Sila who were there,'' he explained when I stopped right in front of him.
''Where's Bella?'' I didn't care about anything else but Isabella. Since I entered the jet back in LA, I couldn't stop thinking about her and what was happening. The last thing I heard when the connection broke down was 'We are being attacked'. I rarely get scared of stuff but this scared me so much, I thought I was about to throw up.
''She just got out of surgery,'' my eyes widened and my jaw slightly dropped. I started to panic. ''What happened? Is she hurt? Is she okay? What-'' Enzo cut me off by grabbing my shoulders.
''She's okay. I think. She performed surgery on Tristen who was shot,'' he explained. ''Is he okay?'' he shrugged his shoulders. ''Yes, he lost a lot of blood but Bella saved his life,'' he assured.
''Where is Bella now?'' I asked. ''She's somewhere here in the hospital with the patients. Many injured people needed help and she was the only one who could help. There are also many people in shock so she's helping them too,'' he explained while I began walking towards the hallway.
''Where are the other Doctors?'' I asked Enzo. ''They died. Bella is the only one who currently can perform surgery on others or take care of badly injured people. My people are helping her as much as possible,'' he followed me through the hallway until we stopped at the waiting room where we saw many familiar people.
Nova looked up and when she saw me her eyes widened. Next to her was Valeria with Damon in her arms. He had his arms wrapped tightly around her while sobbing into her shoulder.
Valeria was looking at me with so much sadness which made my heart each because I felt the same as she did. ''Axel,'' she came walking towards me and I immediately brought her into my arms.
''I'm scared,'' she mumbled against my chest. ''Me too,'' I told her truthfully because I knew lying wouldn't be right at this moment.
I pulled away and looked down at Damon. ''Hey, little man,'' I lifted my hand and ruffled his hair. He then looked up at me with his swollen red eyes that gave me an uneasy feeling. ''Was he with you the whole time?'' I asked Valerie but she shook her head.
''He said he was with a woman named Bella the whole time. She was the one protecting him,'' my lips tilted up into a small smile when she mentioned Bella's name. Looking back down at Damon, I rubbed his back. ''The woman that helped him is my girl,'' I told her with a proud smile.
