Mina
"Minaaa!"
A familiar high-pitched voice that suddenly echoed inside my office made me smiled. As I looked up, I see someone smiling so wide as if intentionally exposing her bunny teeth
"Nayeon unnie, what brought you here?"
"No particular reason. Let's just say, I missed you. Here, your faorite"
I mouthed her 'thanks' as soon as I my hand gently gets the freshly-brewed americano from her. I'm so glad that she visited me all of a sudden. She even brought my favorite treat and that made me even more grateteful towards her.
"Tired?"
I just shrugged my shoulders and took a sip on my coffee. I'm not tired, I'm drained and it's because of bunch of meetings, paperworks and lack of sleep but I don't mind it that much for bunch of meetings, paperworks and lack of sleep means profit and as a bussinesswoman, everything counts and matters.
"You should take a break, Mina. You looked so worn- out"
"I can't. I'm too busy-"
"I know but you still need a rest. You're still a human who needs a break from time to time"
"Thanks, I'll put that in mind"
Nayeon unnie pecked a kiss on my cheeks before bidding goodbye telling me that she musn't bother me anymore for I've got works. I thanked her once again but before she could totally go out of my office, she turned around once again
"By the way, Mina. The girls and I were planning to hang out this weekend on our usual place. I hope you could join us this time. We missed you."
"But-"
"No buts, Mina. We'll wait for you on weekend, 'kay? See you!"
I exasperately sigh a deep one as soon as she totally abandoned me inside my office. I don't know what to do but I don't want to disappoint them again either as well as Yuna. Weekend means time for Yuna and that's the reason I don't usually join them whenever they're all hanging out. Honestly, I missed hanging out with them but I'm really busy these days.
I looked at a certain photo on the right side of my table and tried to clear my mind. As usual, I ended up smiling while looking at the photo of Chaeyoung and Yuna. I still can remember how grumpy Chaeyoung was when I requested a picture of her with Yuna back then. It turned out to be not the best shot but seeing them together now even just in pictures made me smile and even motivates and inspires me to do more than what I really can.
"Thank you for the strength guys. I love you both"

"I'm home"
Mom and Yuna were both nowhere to be found So I guess they went outside for something. A treat for Yuna probably.
I threw myself on the couch and closed my eyes. This day was indeed like my isial day- exhausting yet productive. I stretched my arms and lightly began massaging my sore muscles until I decided to have a warm bath thinking it might help me and my aching body.
A relaxing feeling and comfort run into my whole being as soon as I soaked myself inside the bathtub full of warm water. I was right. The warm water slowly calms down and eases all my muscle pains. I stayed there a bit longer until I heard a familiar knock on the door.
"Mom, were home."
I automatically smiled as soon as I heard my little angel's sweet voice and finished everything inside. I excitedly rushed outside and hug my little angel which made us both smiled.
"How's your day, my little angel?"
"It's worse, mom"
My brows furrowed as soon as I heard the response I am not expecting. Her answer made me worried and curious.
"What happened, my angel? Are you hurt?"
"No mom, but someone took away my lunch"
Oh my God.
"Wait, you mean someone took away your lunch and made you starve?"
"Yes, mom. But my friend gave me an apple So I'm not that hungry, maybe a little but not too much"
My heart broke seeing my beloved angel almost crying whike telling me what really happened earlier. She's being bullied but her innocent mind can't still understand what it really means and that broke my heart even more.
How could even someone do that?
"Is she your classmate?"
"No,mom. She's older. I thinks, she's as old as Yeji unnie"
She. So that kid is a girl and she's two to three years older than my little angel. God, how could that young girl bully a liitle angel?
"Did she hurt you or anything?"
"No mom, she didn't but she told me I've got the ugliest cat in the entire world. She made fun of Sarang mom, she's so mean.."
My poor child. I began comforting her as much as I can wishing it somehow calms her before began telling her what what she musn't do and must do. I know, my little angel, Yuna can be savage and too straightforward sometimes but she's still a sweet little kid inside. Other kids often misunderstands her that's why she's always stuck in a painful situations like these.
I mentally take note to pay a visit on her school and maybe tell her teacher or someone responsible in her school for cases like this.
"Mom?"
"Yes,my angel?"
"Can you make me some extra lunch from now on?"
"Why?"
"Well, I'm planning to give it to her so she won't have to take mine anymore and maybe one day, we can manage to share lunch together and be friends"
I looked at Yuna surprisedly and at the same time, proudly. This is what I'm talking about. She's indeed sweet and unselfish. Who could even imagine that she could think this way after being bullied?
What a pure heart.
"Okay, but if she took your lunch away again or did anything against you then tell me immediately. Are we clear, my angel?"
"Yes mom"
"Promise?"
"I promise"

Watching my little angel peacefulky sleeping beside me makes me feel proud. I still can't believe how she acted after being bullied. She's so sweet and kind that I can't help myself but to be proud.
I ended up thinking of Chaeyoung. Will she be proud and happy as well after knowing how sweet and unselfish our child has become? Well, I'm sure she will.
"We miss you, Chaeyoung. Our little angel amd I misses you a lot and we'll waot for you,baby. We will always wait for you no matter what. Goodnight."
