Mina
I began reminiscing good old times as I stare at Chaeyoung sleeping. Her calm and peaceful state made me smile while her little snores were making me giggle. She looks like a cute mischievious little kid who's comfortably and innocently sleeping and I know I've been seeing her sleep a lot lately but I still can't deny the fact that I miss this. I miss watching her this way while peacefully sleeping beside me.
Time really flies so fast.
We met in a very unusual way and love each other afterwards. We struggled a lot but get married after that. Then life challenged us again. She left while I wait and now after so many years, we met once again and find our way back into each other's arms.
It's really been a roller coaster ride for both of us as the day passes by but for now, I guess it's now safe to say that things were slowly getting better. We are now slowly and finally getting back in each other's arms though there's still some missing pieces in the puzzle.
To be honest, there's still a lot of things that bothers me. I am well aware that she's still keeping something from me. Of course, I'm more than scared of what is she keeping from me but I'm not going to pressure her. I'll wait for the right time until she mustered up all her courage and open up to me.
I'll wait not because I had no option but to do that but because I respect her and her space.
Reality knocled me off from thinking random things when I noticed Chaeyoung groaning. She's also sweating so bad as she heavily gasped for air.
Is she having a nightmare?
"Chaeyoung? Hey. Wake up-"
"N-No, please.."
"Chaeyoung? Baby-"
"D-don't please.."
I started tapping her face gently while woping her tears away as I silently hope and wish for her to wake up. I kept doing so until she opened her eyes.
She hastily sat down on the bed and roam her eyes around. She looks scared and terrified as her tears continuesly flows down her cheeks.
"Baby-"
"Where is grandfather? Where is dad? Did Jeonghoon hurt you? Mina, I didn't killed them. I didn't, right? I really didn't-"
"Hey, baby..calm down-"
"N-No, they're coming, Mina. T-They're coming and they want to take me.."
I immediately hugged her tight wishing so bad for her to calm down. Her body is trembling in fear as she keep on murmuring things that I can't even comprehend at all.
She really seems so scared. Maybe it's really a bad nightmare. I began humming a lullaby while caressing her back wishing and hoping it would atleast calm her which thankfully did after few minutes but she's still trembling in fear and it really worries me.
"W-water.."
I worriedly nodded and stood up to get her a glass of water downstairs but then out of nowhere, she pulled the hem of my sleeping gown as if trying to stop me from going anywhere.
"I'll be quick, baby. I promise-"
"R-really?"
I smiled and decided to peck a kiss on her forehead before nodding. Thankfully, she slowly loosened her grip until she finally let go of me as another tear escaped from her eyes.
I quickly wiped her tears away before immediately going downstairs for a glass of water. I can't help but to worry about Chaeyoung for it's been my first time to witness her being this fragile. Actually, I already witnessed her having nightmares before but this one is different, way different.

As soon as I pushed the door open, I saw Chaeyoung staring at nowhere as her tears were still streaming down her face. I hastily ran towards her and checked her out
"Hey, here's your water.."
Chaeyoung seems to be so occupied by her thoughts. She didn't even bothered to move a muscle even when I'm already calling her name twice in a row.
I worriedly began shaking her shoulders which thankfully, brought her back to her senses and looked at me.
"M-Mina?"
"You scared me. I've been calling you twice in a row but you seemed-"
I was stopped midway when suddenly Chaeyoung hugged me. She hugged me so tight while letting me feel her body trembling.
How I wish I could do something to calm her down- oh right, the water!
"Chaeng, here's your water. Go on drink this to calm yourself down.."
She weakly took the glass of water from me but before didn't actually drink it. instead, she grabbed her bag on the couch not forgetting the glass of water.
"I'll just go to the bathroom"
"O-okay.."
I don't know why did she have to bring her bag and the glass of water inside the bathroom when she can freely drink it here. Everything confused me but I choose not to entertain any thoughts until after few minutes, she came out of the bathroom.
She weakly lay on the bed beside me once again but this time, she's not trembling anymore. She's finally calm which made me sigh in relief.
Silence surrounded the room until I realized Chaeyoung fell asleep again. I stare at her while she's peacefully sleeping once again but this time, I'm worried. Curiousity also started to bug me. I accidentally got a glimpse on her bag that is silently sitting on the couch again.
Should I check her bag?
I heaved another sigh while trying my best to clear my mind from any possible ideas. I shouldn't do things out of curiosity and respect Chaeyoung's privacy So before I could do something, I locked Chaeyoung in my arms and forced myself to sleep not forgetting to kiss her goodnight.
After few minutes, I found myself still wide awake no matter how I forced myself to sleep. My Curiousity is really killing me So I slowly and carefully move out of the bed and grabbed Chaeyoung's bag.
Damn, I'm so sorry chaeyoung..
I rummaged her bag tjourougly until I found two bottles of pills which surprised me.
"What the heck are these pills for? Is she taking these pills? If so, then why?"
I heaved another deep sigh as I looked at Chaeyoung who's once again peacefully sleeping.
Just what are you really trying to hide, Chaeyoung?
