"Will you marry me?"
Mina gasped as soon as she heard the question. Little by little, her silky smooth face was invaded by her precious tears while her hand was shaking as she covers her mouth.
Seeing her reaction made me smile. She looks so perfect and so does the night. The moon was shining so bright as the little stars scattered perfectly in the skies. It was indeed a perfect moment for this.
"Mina? Baby?"
"C-chaeyoung"
I chuckled as soon as she began sobbing. God,she looked so pretty and cute at the same time
"Yes.."
I chuckled as I heard what she just said. Seeing her this way made me tear up as well so I hug her sideways and gently squezzed her shoulders giving her some comfort.
"Damn, Chaeyoung. She said yes!"
"Ouch!"
I flinched and squealed in pain as soon as Mina pinched my shoulders the moment the woman Infront of us said yes to her lover.
Actually, we were watching a lovely couple taking another step closer to their happy ending. Mina slowly became a crying mess As we witness the couple sealing everything into an intimate kiss which the crowd, including us applauses in happiness.
"Hey,baby. Stop crying. I'm not even the one who proposed to you—"
"Shut up, idiot!"
I obliguely zipped my mouth out and just hug her tighter as we watch the lovely couple in front of us. Somehow, they remind me of us.
It's a public proposal of a man into his woman and it feels so romantic and at the same time nostalgic. I can still perfectly remember how I proposed to Mina few years ago here— exactly where we are right now. I tried my best to be as romantic as I can be back then with the help of my friends and thankfully, we nailed it.
Mina said yes and it was indeed, a night to remember
I hugged Mina as she continuesly shed a tear for the couple in front of us. She looked so happy for them. Suddenly, she faced me and peck a kiss quick kiss on my lips which made me wonder why
"Chaeyoung?"
"Mmmm?"
"Aren't you planning to do something like this?"
I looked at Mina. God, she looked like she's already expecting for a marriage proposal from me.
"Baby, look you're just being carried away by what you've just witnessed and—"
"I'm not. I just want everything between us to be official and—"
"And what? Baby, we don't need those kind of thing for in the first place, we are still married. That means you are still officially mine and I'm still officially yours.."
"Fine. I guess I should stop expecting anything from you and start looking for someone else"
Suddenly, she walked away from me, limping. Her action did surprised me but what surprised me the most is when she suddenly yelled at me.
"Hey! Aren't you gonna follow me and say sorry?"
"Hey,what did I do this time?"
"Idiot!"
"Huh?"
I am so clueless. Did I do or say something wrong again?
"Fine! I'll just find myself someone who'll propose to me the way that man did. I will really do it this time, Son Chaeyoung!"
Everyone in the crowd stare and laugh at us as I immediately ran towards her while scratching my nape.
"Baby, wait.."
She just looked at me and rolled her eyes. God, she really is a moody one.
"Mina, please.."
We are slowly getting everyone's attention and somehow I find it embarrassing and awkward so I hastily carried her to escape everyone's eyes. Few minutes later, we ended up in the room where I currently stays.
"Baby?"
"Aren't you really planning something, Chaeyoung? You know, a marriage proposal perhaps?"
"Mina, I told you we don't need those—"
"Okay, I'm just making sure"
Making sure of what? This woman really is unpredictable.
Silence engulfed us in a comfortable way of course as she turned around and laid on the bed facing the wall. Few minutes had already passed but she hasn't utter any single word and just laid on my bed not even bothering to spare a glance. I let her be until I realized she had become too quiet than she usually was and there I realized, she had already fallen asleep.
I moved her body towards my direction and comfortably lay beside her locking her in my arms not forgetting to peck a kiss from her temple down to her soft, kissable lips.
She seemed so worn-out and sleep deprived so I just let her sleep and get all the rest that she needed while I am watching her sleeping.
She's so gorgeous and perfect—a goddess indeed.
Then, I remember her questioning me earlier if I had plans on proposing to her once again. For a moment, it made me think of possibilities. I actually love the idea of it most especially the idea of marrying her once again but I must think of how to prepare for it secretly especially now that she's kind of expecting it.
I pecked another kiss on her temple and pull her closer to mine as I closed my orbs.
Don't worry, baby. I'll surely and officially make you mine once again.
