Mina
"Let's go!"
As soon as I stepped outside the room, a hand gently grabbed mine and immediately pulled me away from where I was. We are now running as if we're being chased by God know what and who. I was about to scream and make a scene out of great shock by the sudden action when I recognized the woman who's taking me away.
"Rosé?"
The slim gorgeous woman didn't made another sound until we turned left and entered a room. The room was more like of private room than a hospital's which awed me. I guess this is her room.
"We're safe"
"Safe? From what? From whom?"
Rosé tried to catch some of her breath before paying attention to my questions.
"From your wife, Mina. Chaeyoung's here for her monthly assessment with my fiancé but my dumb finacé seems to forget about it. Good thing I saw Chaeyoung at the hallway or it'll be a chaos."
"Chaos? Why?"
"Mina, why did you think Chaeyoung hasn't been telling you about her mental state?"
I thought for a second until an idea popped out.
"She's not ready—"
"Exactly. She's not yet ready to tell you about the thing you had just found out today. I'm sure it would be a chaos if she would found out you already knew everything."
It's not because I'm dumb or what but it's still not making sense. I know Chaeyoung's not ready to tell me about her state but why would it create a chaos in the first place?
"Rosé—"
"I know what you're thinking, Mina. I know you're wondering why would it create a chaos. Well, Mina your wife is scared."
"Scared? Of what? Of whom?"
"She's scared Of the things she can't control, Mina. She's afraid you'll judge her. She's afraid of what you may think and most especially, she's afraid of loosing you once again."
Loosing me? Why would I loose her?
"But I'm not even planning to leave her—"
"Mina, a depressed person's mind is way different than ours. They overthink a lot. They create and think of scenes and what if's a lot. They had trouble deciding things and it always takes more time to decide things for them than we do.
I sigh a deep one and roamed around my eyes in the room hoping to find something that'll calm and clear my mind until my eyes landed on a certain portrait of Rosé and Jisoo that caught my attention.
"Chaeyoung made that for us after we helped her in legally adopting Ryujin years ago."
I walked to the portrait closer and examined her until I saw a familiar pseudonym. It's indeed, hers.
"I'm glad she's still doing what she love"
"Not at all. That portrait was the last thing she made as far as I know. She had lost her passion and her will to do what she love after loosing herself years ago, Mina."
A pain strucked my heart after hearing what Rosé just said as I slowly realized that I no longer knew the person I love. I no longer knew even a thing about her except for the things that she allows me to see.
I'm about to say something when Rosé held my hand and smiled to me.
"But don't worry, that was years ago. Now, she's slowly living her life again thanks to Ryujin, Yuna and you. You gusy were her medicine after all her pain like what she always said So please, just wait a bit more and trust her as much as you can. She's really trying her best, Mina. She really do."
Somehow, Rosé's words did comfort me and assured me. After everything I found out today, I realized that what I need the most is to trust Chaeyoung.
I need to trust her so that she can trust herself once again and maybe one day, we'll find each other looking at one another with no more regrets and doubts, no more fear and secrets but only love and pure affection towards one another.
And soon, when that time comes I'll surely be the happiest woman in this life once again.
I was brought back to reality when Rosé's phone suddenly rang. She apologetically smiled at me before answering the call and dropped it off after a minute.
"Mina?"
"Yes?"
"I'm sorry but I have to go now, duty calls"
"It's okay besides I've got somewhere to go as well but hey, can I invite you out for a dinner on saturday? You can tag your fiancé as well if you want. I just really want to thank the two of you for your help"
"You don't have to do that but dinner sounds good So see you on saturday night, Mina"
"See you!"
As soon as we bid goodbyes, I drove to a certain place I've been eyeing for few days ande decided to buy something for Chaeyoung. I may not know everything about her for now but I will always know something that will never change in her. That certain something that will always made her utterly happy no matter what.
I roamed around the store until a certain color caught my attention. Pink—Pink means strawberry and strawberry means Chaeyoung's favorite.
I'll get this one.
I made my way to the counter and I asked the counter personnel to wrapped it into a gift afterwards then left with a smirk on my face and sent a message to Chaeyoung.
