Legend of Keys: Huntik's Adventure In Paradise

Part I: Entrance Exam

" Thank you again for helping us. Im Lycaon Shango. What's your name? "

Apollon clear his throat and introduce himself. " Im Apollon Amun-Ra Huitzilopochtli, but you could just call me Apollon. "

The warlock widen his eyes. " So Majesty Ueman must be your father or grand father ? Oh sorry I didn't introduce them. These are my two friends, Flora and Fauna. We are heading to the province of Dante for the Huntik entrance exam."

Flora and Fauna were twins. Same height, healthy brown skin that glows, and nice green eyes. The difference between them was how they dressed. Flora had a skirt that look like leaves and a flower as a hair bow. Fauna has battle ready shorts with a sword in its sheathe on her side.

Even if they had a change in clothing. Fauna still had a scar on her cheek, and Flora seem to be more well kept like trimmed nails.

Apollon shook their hands. " It's nice to meet you too. I am also going to the exam. It was my grandfather Ueman that had me go."

They all were shocked that he confirmed. Flora and Fauna bow saying they are greatful to compete along side him. Apollon tells them it's alright and not to bow. As its embarrass him.

The Train stopped at the province of Dante the 4th stop. They begin to get off. As the last stop would be the mining power of the realm, Province of Zhalia.

Apollon wanted to go see it, but promised to pass the entrance exam. The province of Dante was filled with military bases and towns, with a few small cities in between. Forests were a bit more embudant.

Apollon couldn't stand their for long. He catches up to the friends he just made.

They hurry to take a chariot. That drive them to the outside of town. They talked more about themselves. All 3 of them lived in an orphanage since they were young. Lycaon mother ran it for years. They further talked about funny things that happened since the time they met.

Once they have arrived at Huntiks. They were mesmerized by how huge it was. It was made of well structured stones and bricks. That ooze out magic.
Protected and hidden by forests and fields.

They run up the stairs and pass through the doors. Rushing to sign up. They were separated into wide rooms. One for witches and the other for warlocks. It was a paper test with multiple choice and writing of basic educational skills.
They all sat in alphabetical order by family name. If they had two. It would be their mothers clans name. Apollon would be now located in the front of the room. Lycaon sat near the back.

The proctor walks in and introduce himself. " I am Ajax Aether. The administrator of the entrance exam. There are 5 lovely soldiers roming around to catch any cheating. The only rule to this exam is to pass at all cost. Under legal limitations of course. Once your done, wait outside the room till others are too. Are you all prepared ?"

"Yes, Master Ajax." Every young warlock said in unison.

In a wide and beaming smile he says, "You brats may begin."

Apollon laughs and scoffs as he reads the question. As if he is being mocked by just being forced too take it. The room was silent and felt dense. The soldiers looked around with a stern look. He flies by extremely quick. The simple subjects of writing, reading, mathematic, science, and battle.

Before Apollon left. He saw Lycaon cheating, but so was everyone else. He decided to help him.

He got back to his seat. He use mana energy flow sharply on his nails. He cut a blank sliver of his paper to write down an answer key.

He turn back his paper and he got up. As he walks towards him, the lights in the room goes out. When the room lit up. Apollon wasn't in the room and Lycaon held onto an answer key.

Apollon was the first boy to wait outside of class. Though he wasn't the only one there. A group of upper class girls stood across; wearing a long white shirt that go down to their thighs, purple ribbon tied below their chest, and black legging that pop out to the eyes. They seem to be smirking. He over hears them talk about how handsome he is, and his blond hair. Wondering if he is from a kingdom of light.

Apollon don't know If he should be insulted or flattered. He ignores them anyways.

As time pass by many more witches came out, and very few warlocks. One of them being Lycaon. He came out showing great gratitude towards Apollon." Thank you so much for the answers. I didn't expect a warlock to finish so fast. Especially one from the rural area. Though I should know better from someone related to majesty Ueman."

Flora and Fauna came teasing Lycaon on how much he was talking. They chit chat to pass the time. Once everyone was done. They had grades out as soon as possible. They listed the boys and girls grades and set in the hallway. Everyone rushed up to see their scores. This resulted in a third of the participants leaving. Apollon had a perfect score. Lycaon was tied second with two other warlocks named Helios and Nile. Heavily educated warlocks, and famous do to family status. When it came to the witches. Flora and Fauna didn't score the highest, but somewhat in the middle.

Everyone looked at Apollon. Wondering who he Is. Especially Helios, staring with his flame colored eyes.

Master Ajax, the proctor, cam out to announce the next exam. The physical exam that will begin in the gymnasium.
