Part V: The Battle Erupts between Rivals

Late in the night Apollon was outside practicing his light spell, Victory. In the process to get stronger. He heard something coming out of the bushes. He took a look and Helio came out with a weird look. Apollon ask what he wants. "A battle", he says. Apollon shook his head. " If you think that's what makes a leader then you haven't been around many."

Helios clench his fist." No, i want to test my strength. Without Master Alexander being in between us, without the silly competitions."

Apollon scoffs and tells him to stop playing around. Helios shoots a large breath of fire from his mouth forcing Apollon to hyperjump onto a high branch.

Helios looks up in anger. " That spell is called fire cast- dragon breathes. A fire mage is considered an Adult when they can perform the spell."

Apollon asks why he is telling him this. Helio scoffs. " Because I'll teach you what true power and skill is."

Helios takes out his sword and jumps to strike Apollon. Apollon created his light sword ready to counter.  They strike each other along the large canopy. Jumping through the forest like flying birds. Helio sweeps Apollon's feet. Causing him to fall towards the forest floor. Apollon created a Strong mana coat to soften the landing.

Helios sends a raging breath of fire down. Setting the trees around him in blaze and ashes.  Apollon almost panics, but dodges the flames and fallen wood. Visions of his parents and house burning flow through his brain like a film. His panic turns into rage as he briefly hallucinates the mysterious man's face on Helios. He sends a large surge of light mana through his fist. " Light cast- Victory"

Helios cast his final spell to counter. " Fire cast: Twin black dragons."

As their spells collide, they push each other to their limits. The light mana in Apollon's hands grew more powerful and bright. Helio was being pushed back quickly. His eyes are a brilliant golden color. Just as Apollon was about to end the fight. Someone grabs his shirt from behind and throws him a long distance. The blast was so powerful that it created a crater the size of the building. The light illuminated the entire forest. Dwarfing Helios attack that only burns down about 50 trees. Lux was there to put a stop to it. Helio felt Kitsune's hand on his shoulder. His face was smeared with defeat.

Kitsune comforts him by patting him on the back. " It's time to go to bed. don't you agree? You don't need any more problems."

Kitsune returns Helio to the Knight's residents, while Lux remains behind in search of Apollon. Lux peers into the trees. " How long have you been staring? Lycaon emerged gradually. "Because he's been working on his new spell." Lux warns him that stalking is bad. People will think of him as creepy. Especially his own team mates.

Lycaon apologizes and offers to assist in the search for Apollon. It wasn't long before they discovered him standing in the crater's center. Apollon stood in a bright glowing aura that faded. He begins to pass out from mana exhaustion. Lux catches him and takes him back with Lycaon.

Lux warns Lycaon to give Apollon some needed space. " He's going through some stuff. If he needs you he will come to you."

Lycaon nods his head. " Yes sir."
When morning hits. They were all awake up early by the screams of their master Alexander. " Get up, rise and shine soldiers"

Everyone rushes to get dressed and ready. Alexander appeared agitated. "I've heard about a large forest fire and a nearby bang. Many people in my town were surprised and went to see what was going on. A bright flashing light and black flames "He directs his gaze at Apollon and Helio, who are both looking away. " So, any of you young warlock, can you tell me what happened?"

Lux tell him everything, and he wanted full responsibility for letting it happen. Kitsune wanted to share responsibility.

Master Alexander had a hard face. "Next time, young warlocks, keep in mind that large-scale spells are illegal to cast on non-permitted grounds. No one will face punishment. I've already spoken with my Sister about dropping the charges in the leader council."

Lux and Kitsune exhale a sigh of relief as they thank Alexander. Master Alexander accepted their entry into the junior world tournament paper. Which will be held at the end of the year in the Water Realm. Flora claims that they did not sign up for it. Master Alexander claims it was his and Master Ajax's fault. Fauna was ecstatic to join. Being pitted against the greatest warrior. Lycaon inquires about the prize. He tells them about gold, silver, and philos mounts. A special look at one of the divine keys is also included. With the rise of the Zodiacs, the water Realm is still hesitant, so it may not happen. The Huntik team saw it as an opportunity too good to pass up.

"With that, I've learned that the Legendary Swordsmen will return tomorrow. I inquire with Master Valerie about training you for the day. If you can't deal with me. Then I recommend bracing yourself for the great swordmen "Master Alexander exclaims with delight.
