The battle kept going. Her swordsmanship was extremely good. She chained down a few of the guards with a water spell named 'Water cast- sea anchor chain'
Chains composed of hardened water, akin to ice, were wrapped around the guards' bodies with a big anchor-shaped lock. It rendered them incapacitated, causing them to fall to the ground or kneel.
The squad was tiring out. Flora was trying to get the last of the people out of the way as Fauna tried to break the chains off the soldiers, but it was useless.
Apollon advised that it's best to take down the caster of the spell to it. Reminding everyone to stay alert.
Fauna was out of breath from the sword exchange between Andromeda and her. " I would be able to take her down if she had a weakness."
Lycaon had an idea." We'll just create one. Everyone huddled around."
They came up with a plan. Andromeda was scared all over from fighting off the soldiers. " I'm willing to make a deal. I don't want to hurt some kids. I've been fighting long enough. You'll give me Apollon and I will leave the city. "
Her tone changed to something so sweet and polite.
Lycaon said with rage." What do you want with him?!!"
Andromeda shakes her head. " You're asking the wrong person. He is wanted by the Zodiacs. If it makes you feel better, I can guarantee his safety. "
Lycaon's eyes froze, hearing the name the Zodiacs.
Fauna points her sword at her. She lowered her eyebrows slightly, wrinkling your brow, and her eyes had a fierce look piercing through. She lowers her voice and her pitch. " Why do you... I mean, they want him so bad ?"
Andromeda shrugs, " I'm sorry, but I don't know much. I only do as i am told. I'm heading there now to receive my pay. I'll promise you can ask all the questions you desire. I just need Apollon."
Everyone stares at Apollon. Apollon stood there, puzzled and conflicted. He wants to know what's going on. He looked at Andromeda, and then he looked at his teammates. Everyone was waiting for him to say something.
Nothing came out of the mouth, but he nodded. He walks up to her and then reaches to grab her hand. He skips her hand and yells. " Light release: blinding lights!!"
An extremely large beam of the brightest light rushes out of his hand. Striking and temporarily damaging the eyes of Andromeda.
Lycaon rushes sending a stream of lightning through her again." Lightning cast: Tazer."
Fauna hurried to restrain her with a rope. Flora had her hands on the floor and cast a spell. " Floral release: rooted restraints."
Large plants and roots rose from the ground and wrapped around Andromeda's body. Flora was trying to stop the spell from going too far, but it looked like Andromeda was incased a huge flowering oak tree. Instead of being roped down by plant matter,
The street of red cobblestone was cracked in every direction the root system spread. The soldiers were released from their chains. They try to stand up and regain their composure. Flora checked her pulse on her neck as her head was the only thing that stood out.
They try to stand up and regain their composure. Flora checked her pulse on her neck as her head was the only thing that stood out.
Flora took a sigh of relief." She's going to be alright, everyone."
The soldiers took out their swords. Trying to not fumble or trip on the debris and bricks. Apollon jumps in front of them." You can't hurt her. She belongs in the hands of the Huntik Academy Patrol. "
" I'm Captain Gerald Tyr. You guys are under arrest for starting an illegal conflict on public grounds and destroying property. Also, Huntik Academy patrol should only be patrolling around Huntik Academy premises."
He gives Apollon a law handbook. Lycaon goes on to argue that they were doing their job. He gave the names of Master Ajax and Master Circe.
Captain Gerald laughs and shakes his head. " You don't have to worry. Since you help catch a criminal, your children will let it go by just this once. We'll contact your masters about having children go out on dangerous missions like this. Things have changed since the warring era."
One of the soldiers with aggressive facial hair praises them." You children can call me Clovis Ku. I think all of us soldiers can agree that you guys are prodigies."
He pointed at Fauna and Apollon. " Especially you two. Both your magics are pretty rare. I have never seen floral magic. Magic that manipulates life. It must take a lot of mana to perform it."
He got up close looking into Apollon's eyes. Apollon took a step back because he felt intimidated, and he reeked of sweat.
Clovis chuckles. " Do not be afraid. I've met a lot of foreigners, but it's unusual to see someone from the light kingdom. Yellow hair, smooth golden olive skin, bright yellow or gold eyes, and the ability to manipulate light."
Captain Gerald tells him to stay away from the squad. Captain Gerald gives him a cold glance. "You have 10 minutes," he says slowly with a strict tone.
Everyone got scared, but Clovis looked unphased. Smiling like an oblivious child. " That's all I need, sir."
Clovis carefully draws his sword. In a way to avoid being cut by the razor-sharp edge.
Apollon is looking behind Clovis. He pointed to Andromeda behind him. She is now free of the tree. "I'll perform some magic for you. If I win, she'll accompany us."
Clovis has yet to say anything. The soldiers are amused. Captain Gerald kept his cool, but he was intrigued enough to agree to the favor. "Let's see if you can do it!"
Apollon didn't draw his sword, but he did position his hands as if he were holding one. "Light release: Light Sword."
