Legend of Keys: Huntik's Adventure In Paradise

Part I: Back to the mission

During the night the girls sneak out to the library. After Twightlight inform them of everything. The boys were fast asleep. Exhausted from training and full stomachs.

The girls slowly but quietly made their way to the Library. As they soon arrive. They waste no time finding shelf K trying to find anything. They tried looking at the 12th book on the shelf, and then the 12th shelf and found nothing. Each  movement they made echoed lightly through the room. Some of the knights decided to stay up to patrol the estate, so they had to be quick and nimble.

Twightlight noticed a strangely placed brick that was part of the wall behind the 12th book. When she took it out. A beautiful light of success shines from a spare key. They took the key and rushed to get everything in order. Khione played a melody to warn the girls that someone was on their way.

Everyone returned to their rooms. There were loud footsteps coming their way.  A few other knights, and Albert, opened to the girls deep in their slumber. When he turned around, Helio and Nile startled him. "Is something wrong?" asks Helio as he rubs his tired eyes.

Albert takes a breath, "Was it you guys who made those loud noises?"

Nile apologizes. They had  trouble finding the restroom. They're just getting ready to go to bed.

Albert dismisses it.

"Next time, don't be afraid to approach any of the knights on nightly patrol. We do not want this to happen again. Do we?"

The boys shook their head. Albert responded with a menacing smile. "Okay, go back to bed. Prepare for the arduous training tomorrow."

The teams wake up early in the morning and gathered in the boys' room.

Helio chastises them for their carelessness. "It was too close, you know what could have happened."

Twilight suggests that the next time he should complete the mission instead of sleeping through it. Reminding him and the boys of their post-dinner plans.

Apollon steps in to put an end to the squabbling."Okay, okay, it doesn't matter. All that remains is to find a way into the secret room without being discovered."
Lycaon wonders what they will do next.

Apollon responds, "Of course, gather as much information as possible.  The team with the most information at the end of this week is the winner." Helios eagerly accepted the challenge. Everyone else will follow along as long as it does not jeopardize the mission.

"And the prize?" Fauna inquires.

Twightlight shook her head."Don't inflame their rivalry. It will only exacerbate the situation."

Helios' pride radiated from his smile. "It'll be easy. Our team clearly excels at collaboration and execution. The great wizard, illusionist, warrior, and leader. They have a mediocre warlock, a witch with more mana than she can control, Blondy, and the best of them all, I suppose, is the warrior witch who's decent in battle. It's better if they just take the initiative and learn. A present for them."

Team tortoise was clearly enraged. " Keep an eye on your tongue or else." Fauna says enraged.

Apollon takes a deep breath. "It's all right, Fauna. You won't mind accepting this offer if you're such a great leader. Whoever gathers the most information will lead the entire Huntik team in pursuit of Master Gale. Deal ? "

Twilight rolls her eyes once more. Helios and Apollon grip each other's hands as their eyes locked in rivalry.

Someone came in and interrupted them.it was Galen who came to see Flora. She couldn't help but blush when she saw him with his kind crystal blue eyes.

Everyone left them alone to eat breakfast before the knights and their squad leaders leave them scraps.

Flora asks why he was here. He took out a dark wooden wand with a lovely amethyst base. "I know you struggled with your mana control, so I took your mana signature while we were in the sanctuary... I know I shouldn't, but I hope it doesn't offend you. So, I had my mother help me make a wand specifically for you to aid in your mana manipulation and control."

Flora eagerly takes the wand. "Taking my mana signature without my permission is strange, but this is very thoughtful. Next time, ask."

Galen laughs nervously. "I will. " Flora goes in for a hugs. He froze for a moment before wrapping his arms around her. "Galen, thank you very much. It's ideal." She's plays around a little with the wand.

Galen's smile broadened when he heard that. "I'm delighted you do like it."

Breakfast was almost finished. Flora came to take the scraps. Everyone stares at her. Making her turn red.  Everyone is staring at her.

Albert inform everyone that they, 12 swordsmen, would be attending a meeting at the Capital to meet with various government leaders. They will return in three days. Master Valerie will take over training.  Albert wishes it is enough time to begin proper training.

Helios lets out a sigh. "When I see it, I'll believe it."

Albert laughs. " Your Pheonix's brat. You should be a little patient and humble like your brother. You should ask him why ? Better yet you know as soon as I'm back."

Helio gives him a cold stare. Albert smokes a cigarette. "It's the least I can do, for your father has me hooked on these things." He blew smoke into a shape of a dragon.

As soon as they left. They were in the field, getting ready for the next lesson. Magical spells
