Roaring dragons descended from the sky in a synchronized formation, their mighty presence shaking the ground upon landing. Among them, a witch rode gracefully on the back of a majestic phoenix, her blond hair streaked with fiery red strands. Golden yellow eyes gleamed with determination, and her light cocoa-brown skin was adorned in a unique attire crafted from blazing phoenix feathers. Lux, upon seeing her, couldn't help but mutter, "Uri." She was none other than the Fire Fighters' leader, Uri Kagutsuchi , a young prodigy at the age of 13.

Beside her, a dark black and red drake awaited its turn. With no wings of its own, it served as the steed for its master, Blaze Xolotl, who also had a fiery companion in the form of a bulgae, a flaming dog. Blaze's skin was as dark as the night, his eyes ablaze with the color of bright flames, and his coiled orange hair added to his distinctive appearance, adorned with a trail of scars and burned bite marks.

Following closely were the wavey red-headed twins, Kenna and Kenneth Pele, hailing from the land of volcanoes. They rode in on Wyverns, Kenna astride a blue one, and Kenneth on a red counterpart. Their red eyes exuded an air of carelessness and contempt, a stark contrast to the dark cloaks worn by the rest of the team, each bearing a dragon symbol on the back.

"Uh, those wretched beasts. Why did we agree to have those filth in the games?" The Earth Empress cast a disdainful gaze at the dragons, her expression a mix of fear and disgust.

Unfazed by the empress's sentiments, the Fire Queen retorted, "These majestic beasts symbolize the essence of our great Realm; their presence is imperative." Her laughter, joyous and unapologetic, reverberated through the arena like crackling flames.

In the midst of the crowd, Hunter couldn't tear his gaze away from the awe-inspiring dragons. Their immense size, fiery breath, menacing visages, and razor-sharp teeth held him spellbound. Apollon, grappling with fear, found comfort in Lycaon's reassuring grip, their intertwined hands offering a source of solace. Helios' eyes widened with a sparkling flare at the resonating roars of the dragons—truly a spectacle to behold, evoking a sense of both fear and admiration.

As the battle unfolded, Uri seamlessly assumed command, instructing the team to concentrate their firepower on the Golem's head. Dragons and her phoenix unleashed a torrent of flames directed at the colossal adversary. The Golem, though attempting to block the onslaught with its hands, began to succumb to the relentless heat. Uri's phoenix, bearing a neck tattoo that glowed with intensity, emitted a scorching jet stream. "Fire Cast - Breath of the Phoenix," she declared. The searing blaze cut through the Golem's arm, exploding onto its head. The team joined in, hands ablaze with the incantation, "Fire Cast - Dragon Flare," obliterating the crystal and the head simultaneously.

A wave of cheers and applause erupted from the crowd. Apollon, caught in a state of frozen awe, felt his limbs tremble. Lycaon, understanding his distress, turned Apollon's face to meet his gaze, instantly calming the overwhelmed mage. "It's okay, I'm here," he reassured. In an instinctual move, Apollon found comfort in Lycaon's embrace, grappling with flashes of the traumatic flames that haunted his dreams. Lycaon offered solace, noting, "I think canines are way better to watch than dragons."

As the Fire Team retreated to their rooms, Lux hurried to approach Uri. She questioned whether she knew him. Lux, with a wry smile, replied, "I know your mother gets my mail, so you can't forget this face, Uri." Rolling her eyes, Uri retorted, "Just because my father sends me photos doesn't mean I know who he is." Lux, taken aback but understanding, mused, "Yeah, I'm just your father." As Uri walked away to tend to her phoenix, Lux rejoined the crowd. Caught in a brief moment, Uri glanced back with a frown, only to quickly avert her eyes as Lux reciprocated the glance. The unspoken complexity between them lingered in the air.
