Everyone meets up in the province of Sophia at Nile's and Khione's house for their birthday party. Team Tortoise came with mermaid tear earrings and a seer stone. Khione loves the mermaid tear earrings, her mother compliment her that it was a better quality than what she had when she was little.

Apollon laughs a little." Yeah, it was a bit expensive but anything for the witch who gave me these calming shell earrings." Khione hugged him. " Thank you," Lycaon informs her that tell all pitched in. She releases her hug. " Thank you, everyone." Nile put on his seer stone necklace.

" Seer stones are very hard to come by. Only time mages know how to find these." Apollon tells him that his grandfather was once a seer in his teen years. He had tons of these lying around. His whole team had to beg and do tons of work just to get one. Helios gave him a special grimoire that had some form of sentience. Flying around next to the Nile. Khione has gained an Adders stone bracelet from both of them. That prevents illusions from being cast on her. " Aww, you guys didn't have to." She gave them both a hand, even Twighlight who isn't into physical affection. " Well little fries, I gave you the biggest present. You guys will be on my ship for the tournament in the water realm." A large smile grew across his face. Nile didn't look excited one bit, but Khione was. He hugs them both tight and lifted them in the air. "We are going to have some good family and team fun. Nile nervously whispers. "Dad you are embarrassing us put us down." Snow apologizes and sets them down. Cordelia tells them she won't be coming as she has work to do with important information. Khione asks if it has anything to do with the Zodiacs. Cordelia sighs and shakes her head." You know it is confidential. My present for you is those pearl necklaces. Take care of it. It was your grandmother's." Khione sighs." thank you." Hugging her." Twighlight says under her breath. "She really is a hugger."

Fast forward to May 12 

Team Tortoise chose to meet in Locke province's field. Lux smiled as he grasped his scarf and glanced at his team." All right, I'm up and ready. "Show me your stuff." He draws his sword. Lycaon and Apollon followed suit. Flora inquires, concerned. "Are you certain you want to do this?" You've only been gone from the refuge for a few weeks. Lux nods as he assumes his battle posture. Flora fires a quick arrow. Lux was quick to evade and dash in front of them. Apollon was more offensive than defensive. With such veracity and quickness, Apollon swings and counters. Which seems to be complemented by the Lycaon sword style of the swift and fast strike. Lux was forced to go on the defensive, evading assaults. Lux moved considerably faster, leaving images in his wake. Apollon is knocked back with a kick, while Lycaon is knocked back with a punch. The arrow of Fauna only hits his after images. Flora waved her wand, sending plants to rise in an attempt to constrain him, but he was too swift. Slicing away and dodging them like a delicate ballerina as they rise from the earth. "You guys are doing much better than you were before. "He goes in to touch his scarf, but he wasn't wearing it. He looks around to see Lycaon holding up his scarf. "As soon as Fauna already arrowed your scarf, Flora distracts you with her plant magic. Leaving enough time for me to snatch it." Lux clapped his hands. " You guys have definitely changed and it's only been a month. We still have work to do for the competition.  Any other plans will be pushed aside for the pre-round." 

Apollon asks what he means by pre-round. He tells the group the big news that the rulers of the realms will be having a summit in paradise in the beginning of winter. They want to show their realm's power and can't pass this opportunity to do so before the actual competition begins.
