Part III: Mission Failure

Apollon holds a 30-inch sword made of the hottest light energy in his hands. It was far too bright to stand looking at for long.

As the pollen-carrying wind settled. They locked their gazes on each other. Apollon's eyes were as fierce as a falcon's, but it didn't bother him in the least. They sprint towards each other. They almost clash swords until a bomb-like attack sends them both flying back. On top of one of the red-brick buildings, a deep baritone voice can be heard. "If I want something done. I suppose I'll have to do it myself."

"Get down and identify yourself by removing your mask," the captain orders.

In terms of height, the warlock appears to tower over everyone. He was shirtless, revealing an extremely buff physique. His voice didn't help with the hostile aura he'd emitted. "You can refer to me as Taurus. Please hand over Andromeda and Apollon so that I may depart."

Captain Gerald's demeanor shifts and he pulls out his sword. "He is a member of the Zodiac. New recruits, get the kids out of here!! The rest of you stay to help detain him."

"SIR, YES!!" The soldiers scream.

Taurus descends with a mace. Destroying the ground beneath them. Shock waves and massive debris knocked out some of the rookie soldiers. The surrounding area was not spared. The massive shock wave cause some store windows to break and parts of their walls to collapse.

"So much money is being taken from your funding for this," Lycaon says.
Fauna scolds him. "It's not the time for this."

Apollon sprints out of sight. He's trying to hit him with his light sword. Running around him for a single slash. Each strike was deflected by his mace.
The soldiers help him apply more pressure in battle.

Taurus knocks all the soldiers back with a spinning swing. Apollon jumped back before being struck.

Taurus clenches his teeth and charges mana into his hands. "You're a quick brat."

He punches Apollon in the stomach hard, causing him to pass out from pain. Despite this, he was able to stab his shoulder by accident. Giving Taurus a strong burning sensation. Apollon falls from the air. and landed on floral bushes.

Fauna challenges him to a duel. However, as the battle progresses, it is insufficient. The swing of his mace was about to deliver the finishing blow, but Lycaon rushes to send a lightning tazer through his mace. In exchange, having crashed into a building, and bring knocked out. Taurus was on his knees now. Captain rose to his feet, and he and Fauna both struck with their swords.

Taurus said in a screeching pain. " explosive style: outward explosion"

A powerful bomb is a release from the pores of his skin sending them both flying back. They were too tired to go on and fainted on the floor.

Fauna cries out as she heals Apollon. Seeing her sister, comrades, and soldiers fall in front in front of her. Makes her remember the time when she was younger. Seeing a waring battlefield in the forest. Blood dripped like slow rain. Cries are heard like common birds. Her sister cuddles up to her. A feeling of weakness and vulnerability rushes in. She starts trembling as rage builds up inside her and she loses control. A massive spur of mana rushes out of her. A massive flowering forest rises. It begins to crush everything in its way. Turning the buildings to dust and the ground beneath her to fertile soil as it spreads.

The rumblings of it all create a mini seismic wave collapsing more buildings. Taurus tries hard to fight off the foliage as it consumes him alive.

Group early birds arrived to see Flora go berserk. Nile even commented at the amount of mana she is releasing being monstrous. Khione asks, "what are we going to do?"

Helio look to Fauna and Lycaon has fainted. " Nile and Twilight go and grab Lycaon and Fauna. Then take them to a safe area far enough from battle. Khione your gonna help me soothe and restrain Flora. Before she destroys the city."

"Right!" Said everyone.

Helios and Khione charges forward dodging crumbling buildings and monstrous growing Plants. Apollon was waking up. He dreamt up flashes of certain memories. A train, a burning house, and a man with a number 13 tattoo on his neck. The memories stop and dimmed into two burning lights. A familiar outline of a witch and warlock appeared hugging him. They spoke 3 words. " We love you." A burning sound is heard again and their voice devolves into screams.

Tears rush down Apollon's face. A burst of light mana surrounds his body. He levitates off the ground and his eyes open to a bright golden color so does his hair.

Helio couldn't look directly at him. Even for his distance. Apollon's body was extremely bright. He created symbols with his hand and created a light sword in his right hand and a light shield in his other hand. Scorpio rushes on the battlefield to get Taurus out. He was imediately slashing away before he was able to escape. They were both kicked miles away by Apollon. Scorpio cast a spell. " blood release: blood bullet."

He released blood from his fingertips. Compress it with mana and shoot at rapid speed. Apollon dodges them creating after images. Apollon extends his light sword straight through Scorpio's chest. He wasn't fast enough to dodge it but at least miss his heart. An extreme burn sensation happens. Making him fall towards the ground. Taurus cast a spell as well to fend him off. " Explosive style: missile."

The bolting pressurized blast strikes Apollon with a massive bang only to be absorbed by his shield. Then reflected In the form of a light blast. Helio and Khione took well cover under some rubble as the light blast reflected toward the Zodiac members. The impact could be heard miles away. The light blinded anyone who saw it.
