Love

It has been a week since the questioning. Things have been going unsettlingly smooth. Of course there was tension with Olivia but things were very, very slowly beginning to go return to a semi normal state. Well, as much as they could. The first night when we got back from the police department was probably the worst. No one spoke to or even looked at each other. We all simply just went to bed in different bedrooms ending the night.

But hey, from the worst, it can only get better right? Olivia still hasn't spoken once unless she is spoken to and it makes me really upset. Anyone could tell how horrible she felt and honestly, I was ready to forgive her. I think Calum was too. Or at least talk to her. He is the only one that hasen't attempted to make any kind of conversation with Olivia. It was hurting both of them.

I sighed and shook the thoughts from my head as I stepped out of my shower. Steam filled the bathroom as my feet hit the cool tile floor. I wrapped the warm fuzzy towel around my body and walked over to my sink to wash my face and such. When I was finished, I stepped out of my bathroom into the crisp air of my bedroom. I turned to the left and walked down to the other door where my closet was.

Luke said he wanted to take me out this morning to get away from all of the awkwardness and gloominess for the day. It was now nearing May and the weather was starting to get chilly. I didn't really know what we were doing today. So, I pushed hangers aside of articles of clothing that ranged from winter to summer.

I was about to give up when I found a very large plain grey singlet. I pulled it out and held it up to me and it ended just above the middle of my thigh. I figured it was one of the boys and decided that it was okay for whatever Luke had planned.

I pulled out a pair of black tights to go it as well. I threw on a black bra and lace underwear so it wouldn't show up under the light material. I threw the shirt over my body and fastened a belt black braided around my waist loosely. I threw on a jean jacket I found on the floor and slid on my regular vans. I opened the door and walked around the hallway to enter my room again.

I walked over to my vanity and did natural looking makeup while my hair finished air drying. I finished up and did some braid contraption I had learned to do over the years of being forced to stay home. Once I was satisfied with the messy type of braid, I walked over to my dresser and unplugged my phone from it's charger.

I turned it off as I walked over to the doors that opened to my balcony. I haven't been out there since the hallucination because it got me too paranoid. I opened the doors slowly and stepped out. The sun was shining making the breeze more warm than cold. I slowly walked over to the edge and held onto the railing. I took a look around and you could even faintly see the city from how high up I was.

I slowly inspected every inch of the balcony and nothing has been touched or changed since the incident. I let out a small breath of relief that I didn't know I was holding. My mother wasn't here. She was back in our pathetic apartment in New York. Even if that.

She doesn't need me anyway. She could easily pay someone to bring drugs to her. There was no reason for her to possibly try to find me. I needed to stop being so afraid that she will appear from thin air to bring me back. I was lost in thought when I felt hands on my waist making me jump. But after a split second, I knew those hands. I relaxed into Luke's embrace and used his chest to lean back on.

"Good morning beautiful."He said swaying us slightly back and forth. I smiled at the gesture as we continued. "You always call me that." I stated. "What do you mean?"He asked confused. "Like, every time I greet you or address you, every time you call me beautiful."I said quietly. "Well, because you are."He chuckled.

"Luke, seriously."I whined. "I am being serious, Jasey. You're the most beautiful person in the world." He said nonchalantly as if it were a simply known fact. I smiled as I blushed being thankful that he couldn't see my face. "So, any hints on what we're doing today?"I asked changing the subject.
