*3 weeks later*

"Mike! Give it back!"I said running after him for the fourth time today. Currently Michael and I were at the flat by ourselves because everyone was out or busy. We started out having a movie day but then I discovered he is horrible to watch movies with. He wouldn't shut up.

Granted his side comments were hilarious. But we could never make it through the whole movie without him cracking a joke that lead to a conversation that turned the movie into background noise. So, instead we somehow ended up on the subject of video games thus bringing us to where we are now.

Michael was attempting to teach me how to play video games and eat pizza at the same time which I admit is a lot hardest than I thought. But I would never admit that of course. Honestly it was a pretty big waste of time because we also discovered that I'm god awful at video games.

We were just trying to find things to do until later tonight. We were all going to some fancy restaurant that Michael's father also owns. We were celebrating the first month of me living here with them. I had grown to love it here. The people are always so nice and so was the weather.

I both fortunately and unfortunately have heard no knew news involving my mother's whereabouts. I even hired a P.I. to look into the situation but he has come up dry every time he seems to have a lead. The whole thing has just turned into a money hog and I'm very over the problem in its entirety.

He asked the landlord to review the security cameras to see if she was seen leaving and what direction she went to find anything that would help locate her. But when they went to check the tapes, there was nothing there. Not one of them showed the face of my mother on it which was even more confusing.

He once thought her release was related to certain deaths around the state of New York but I told him that was impossible. She would have to be able to walk without tripping over air to pull that off. She hasn't walked normally since she fell down the stairs one night while being stoned, on an acid trip, and drunk all at the same time.

If you haven't caught my drift yet, she hasn't been quick or clever in a while. Let alone would she have enough skill to murder multiple people in such a short amount of time. I told him to keep me posted of course but nothing significant has happened.

On the bright side, the six of us here in Australia have grown surprisingly close over the course of the past month. Well besides Luke. The condition of our "friendship" was still the same. He was very mood swingy. One minute he would make sarcastic jokes with me and chuckle at my clumsiness. The next he would be slamming doors in my face and purposely bump into me so I would trip or something.

His mood swings are giving me whiplash and it's exceedingly annoying. However pleasantly enough, Luke has been away for this weekend. I'm not really sure where he went but who the hell cares. Today, it's not me. Every time I feel like we're making progress he shuts me down. I'm beginning to think that the whole nice side of Luke that the rest of the boys grew up with is just a myth.

The sound of guns elating from the speakers pushed me out of my thoughts. "See I just killed you. Again. This is why I took the remote from you in the first place. You some how convinced me it would be different this time and here we are. You weren't even paying attention you were off day dreaming again."Michael said unimpressed.

"Sorry, sorry. I've just had a lot on my mind lately."I said stretching my arms out trying to clear my head. "Or you're subtly saying that this is the most boring thing you've ever done and that's why you keep zoning out."He said raising his eyebrow at me accusingly.
