"I just wish I could be happier about being engaged."Caitlyn said groaning on the couch. "Well you are happy, there's just a complication that's making it a little difficult. Or two complications I should say."I said shrugging. I was making us both some ramen for lunch while everyone else was out and about doing God knows what. "I just want them to be out of me already. I feel like my ovaries are gonna explode."She grumbled as I brought her the ramen in a bowl.

"You're due any day now Caitlyn. Just hold up a bit longer. Try to think of wedding details to get your mind off of your explosive woman parts."I suggested. She sighed nodding. I sat down next to her and places my bowl on my lap. "So, lets talk location. Where do you want the ceremony to be?"I asked.

"I'm not sure. I would think a church. Or maybe the beach."She said taking another bite of her ramen. "Here, lets write it all down so we can keep track of it."I said getting up. I found a pad of paper in the drawer of the dresser in the living room and a pen. I walked back over to the couch to my original spot.

"Okay so beach or church."I said writing it down. "When?"I asked. "Maybe like 9 months from now? So sometime next spring? I mean, there wont be that many people coming. Just us, families, a few friends from work. I don't know if Ashton will invite more people though."She said.

"Maybe. How about color scheme?"I asked. "I was thinking black, and white?"She said. I wrote down the colors and we continued talking about certain arrangements for the whole afternoon. By seven, we had an outline of a plan figured out.

"Now all I have to do is run this list by Ashton, then the major thing we'll have left to do is look for a dress."She chirped. "I'm glad I was able to help"I said. "Thank you. I'm so excited now."She said putting her hand on her stomach subconsciously.

"For the twins or the wedding?"I asked chuckling. "Both."She said. "Speaking of weddings and children, you and Luke thinking about that anytime soon?"she asked smirking. "Honestly, we've talked about it a few times but nothing ever came from it."I said. "I'm sure he'll ask you soon. Maybe Ashton proposing and the whole wedding idea will give him some motivation."She said shrugging.

"I don't know. Do you think we're both ready for that? Marriage? Children? I definitely don't want to rush something as monumental as that." I said sighing. Before she had the chance to respond to me, the front door busted open.

"Guys."Calum said rushing over to us. "What's wrong?"I asked sensing his urgency. "Michael."He said tearing up. "What do you mean? He didn't leave again, did he?"Caitlyn asked setting her empty bowl on the table.

He laughed bitterly and shook his head. "I wish he did."He said as I furrowed my eyebrows. "Calum, what's going on? Just spit it out. What happened to Michael."I said walking up to him.
"H-he was in a car accident. They were taking him away when I got there."he said now crying.

My eyes widened and I sat on the couch. "How did you-"
"The investigators saw that my contact was open on his phone. I guess he was calling me and in the middle of leaving me a message before he was hit. I didn't pick up because my phone was on silent. Olivia and I were at the theater."He said all in one breath.

A million thoughts were going through my head at the news. I didn't want to ask the question that we all wanted to know. "We need to go see him Calum. Now."I said standing up. "I know, I wanted to come get you both since we left you with no car that was big enough to fit Caitlyn's stomach."He said rubbing his face. At any other time, the comment would have made me laugh, but there wasn't time for that right now.

"Stop being funny, Hood. Help me up and lets go see him."Caitlyn said holding her hands up so we could help her up. We obliged and did as she said helping her up. Calum walked her out the door and down the steps while I grabbed purses and phones. I ran out of the house locking it behind me.
