As we stepped into the mental institute wing of the doctors, instant judgmental looks were shot our way making me roll my eyes. Luke squeezed my hand and I kissed his cheek. "Hello. How may I help you?"The lady at the front desk. "Hi, My name is Jasey Hood. I spoke to you on the phone the other day. We have an appointment for Doctor Johnson at two."I said politely. "Let me check here. Ah yes. Please take a seat in the waiting room and he'll be with you soon."She said. "Thank you."I said. I pulled Luke along with me into the seating area.

"Im kind of nervous."Luke said as we sat down and began bouncing his leg. I put my hand on his thigh and kissed him softly. "You'll be just fine what ever the outcome is. Remember, we go through this together."I said. "I love you so much."He said kissing me again. "And I love you."I said kissing his knuckles. I then rested my head on his shoulder as we waited.

We told jokes and stories as I tried to keep his mind occupied. We talked about Calum and Olivia and how they should get together. Also how we could set them up together. We talked about the baby and even possibly boy names for Ashton and Caitlyn. I decided not to mention Michael for obvious reasons and kept things light.

After about twenty minutes of mindless conversation, the door opened with a nurse standing in front of it. She held a black clipboard and was wearing the typical hospital scrub get up. "Hemmings?"She called. Luke's head shot up and I nodded. We got up and made our way into the hallway following her to a random room and Luke sat on the bed.

The woman took his temperature, blood pressure, etc.. When she was finished she said the doctor should be in within the next few minutes. Sure enough a couple minutes later,  a knock was heard, and the doctor came in. "Hello. I'm Doctor Johnson. You must be Luke."The doctor said to him shaking his hand. "And you're the Mrs. I presume."Doctor Johnson said. "Not yet."Luke said making the doctor chuckle. "I'm his girlfriend, Jasey."I said blushing.

He was lacked a white coat like most doctors. Maybe it was because he was a psychiatrist. He had lightly tanned skin, his blonde hair was slicked back with blue eyes, and was fairly tall. He didn't seem much older than Luke and I. "So, what are you here for today?"He asked taking a seat on the counter.

"We think that I could possibly have a bipolar disorder."Luke said sitting up straight now. "Right. Have you been experiencing dramatic mood swings or depression?"The doctor said folding his hands. "Mood swings, yes and only slight depression. But nothing so serious that has caused me to isolate myself or anything like that."Luke said.

"Has any past family member of yours had or currently have a form of depression or bipolar disease?"He asked leaning forward. "Not that I know of. My father was an alcoholic if that means anything but that was long after I was born."Luke said. "We'll check into your families files and let you know. If we find anything, then we can determine where your bipolar disease came from if you even have it." The doctor said.

"Let's  run some tests on you just to make sure. If you would come with me, this shouldn't take long Jasey. You can wait here if you would like or go back into the waiting room. It's your choice."He said. "I'll just wait here."I said. "You may want to leave your phone, keys, or anything that potentially has metal or plastic in caution of interfering with the results. Including the lip ring."The doctor said.

Luke handed me everything the doctor said and kissed me quickly. I gave him a reassuring look as they exited the room. As I waited, I played on my phone, texted Caitlyn and Olivia in a group chat, texted each of the boys, went through social medias, and even watched a tv show on Netflix. I was bored and it had been almost an hour now.

I sighed and then heard Luke's phone go off in my purse. I debated on whether or not to check it just to make sure it wasn't anything serious about his mom. Yolo right. Or that's what Michael says. I pulled it out and an unknown number was spread across the screen.
