"N-Nature Seal: Field of Roses!"

All of a sudden, the grassy field started sprouting flower buds. A few seconds later, the buds matured into fully grown flowers, red roses to be exact.

Six days had passed since we had arrived at the summit of Mount Zion and so, this was the sixth day of Raya's magic training. So far, her progress was in line with what I expected from someone with potential this great.

"H-How did I do, A-Aaron?"

I turned away from my thoughts, a young brown blonde girl looking at me with a nervous smile. As I looked to her right, I saw a vast grassy field, red roses abundant and scattered around the area. A half smile crossed my lips as I turned back to Raya.

"How do you think?"

"I-, uh, I-"

I stood up from the tipped log I was sitting on while I was overseeing the young girl's progress, making my way over to her. As I stood next to her, Raya's words failed her as she turned away, hiding her blushing cheeks.

"You're doing great. You'll be as good as Ariel in no time if you keep this up." I ruffled a hand through the young girl's hair, smiling at how far she had progressed in such a short time.

"Hey! I heard that."

A voice from behind made me pivot on my heels and as I turned around, none other than Ariel was stood before me. The rose blonde had her hands on her hips, her lips pouting dramatically as she looked to me, then down to Raya, smiling as she looked to the younger girl.

"You got a minute, Aaron?"

I turned to the young girl at my side, seeing that she was half hiding behind me as Ariel walked over to us. As I looked back to the rose blonde, I nodded, seeing that she wanted to talk about something.

Then, I looked to the field of roses, an idea crossing my mind. I raised my right hand, clicking my fingers with a snap. Right then, a moderately sized, glowing orange flame appeared, hovering slightly above the grassy flower field.

"Hey, Raya, put out this flame. We'll be right here."

At that, the brown blonde turned to the glowing hot flame, audibly gulping as she understood the challenge. I couldn't help but smile at her reaction, turning to Ariel as we sat down on the tipped over log.

"So, what's up?"

Ariel looked up, watching on as Raya frantically tried her best to put out the flame with any magic spell she could think of.

"It's nice of you to teach her how to use magic thought it seems familiar to what Cabrakan was using." She paused for a moment, but as I thought, I could have guessed that this was the case from how she reacted to the Elder's story days ago.

"But, I've been wondering. Those like us have a higher capacity for mana. Are you sure you're doing Raya a favour?"

I thought over the question, looking up to see the young girl still trying to put out the flame with her nature based magic. Then, I turned back to Ariel, shaking my head.

"You know magic doesn't come from this realm. Your soul magic is what the Olympians use, meaning it never belonged to this world. After what happened to Ida, you'll probably never see anyone using magic like it."

"The magic Raya is using has been passed down through many generations. There's no risk in teaching her magic that belongs to this world because unlike her, our magic stems from the Heavenly Realms. I'm sure you know but the only reason we can use our magic safely is because of who we are, Incarnates."
