I was inconsolable.

Allison tried her best to console me from the moment we realized I was pregnant.

She told positive stories about women who had children at my age and how their progress never diminished.

"The good thing is Ferrari would not discriminate against you because you are pregnant, I think you should keep it", she said to me.

"I will keep it", I replied.

"You are due to fly to Turkey for the next race on Wednesday so I will say you use tomorrow to visit a doctor and get checked out properly so you can get your prenatal vitamins. I also have to be back in London tomorrow too but I will try to see the closest hospital here that we can book an appointment for you to attend, just try to rest and eat something", she remarked.

I nodded my head.

Allison had later gone to bed and I was alone in my room. Alone with my thoughts.

The father of my unborn baby was not in doubt but was I ready to let him know he was going to become a father? Not now, not even in the near future, not even my grandparents nor father were going to know until the baby's birth was due. Only Kayla, Allison my agent turned friend and brother Jeffery were aware and I felt it was better that way. I was determined to raise the child myself and not depend on Lewis to bring him or her up.

My father was still recovering but a lot better than the last time I was with him in America. The best grandparents in the world, my grandparents, were constantly in contact with me and I promised to visit them as soon as the season ended.

My appetite and mood were at an all-time low but I had to force myself to get some sleep after eating an apple. I hoped that after the appointment with the specialist tomorrow, I will be placed on prenatal vitamins that would help me start feeling better.

Allison checked on me the next morning before she left to catch her flight to London and sent the details of the appointment she booked by 9am as well as the selected hospitals' name. She promised to check on me constantly even if she wasn't going to be around most of the time.

The journey to the hospital was brief and I found myself nervous as I walked into the hospital.

"Good morning, I have an appointment with Dr. Mercer at 9am", I said to the lady at the nurse station.

"Good morning Miss, May I have your name please", she asked me.

"Selena Reiss", I replied.

"Give me a minute please", she responded.

"You can go to room 106 just along the corridor behind you and by your right for the nurse to take your vitals, you will be directed to the Obstetrician's office after.

"Thank you", I said and went in search of the room. I waited just outside the room for the patient currently being checked to come out.

"Ms. Reiss please", an elderly nurse called out to me.

"That's me", I said and followed her in while she took the required readings from me.

"I'm done, let me lead you to Dr. Mercer, he's already waiting for you", she said to me.

"Oh thanks", I replied.

The Obstetrician's office was just about three rooms from where I took my vitals so it wasn't stressful for me.

"Hello Ms. Reiss, I'm Dr. Mercer, I'm going to ask you some questions that will guide our diagnosis of whatever you are experiencing, how are you feeling today?", he asked me.
