The Limo had been hit by a truck coming from the adjacent side of the street while they were waiting at the traffic light and it caused the vehicle to somersault thrice before coming to a stop. Emergency services were at the scene within minutes of the accident but buzz about the crash had started circulating online from those who were on the live feed.
A bloodied and conscious Selena was the first to be evacuated while Charles and the driver followed after. Everyone evacuated was duly identified while they were transferred to Chelsea & Westminster Hospital in Central London not far from the accident scene.

The Mercedes team had converged at the 'XOYO' night club along with other attendees for the after party. They had not even been there for fifteen minutes before news about the accident started filtering through. Angela called a vibrant Toto aside while Lewis stood with Simon and having a drink.
"What's the problem Angela? why are you wearing a long face?", Toto asked.
"Bad news Toto", she said to him. "I just hope it's not as bad as it seems", she added.
"Can you please tell me what is going on?", Toto asked impatiently.
"Selena and Charles were involved in an accident on the way to the Ritz", she said to him.
'What? What did you just say Angela?", Toto asked bewildered.
"They were involved in an accident, a truck failed brakes and ran into their limo, but the three of them driver inclusive were taken to the hospital, they are all conscious but it's Selena I'm more worried about", she explained.
"What hospital please? I need to get there now and wait what's with Selena?", he asked concurrently.
"She is pregnant Toto", Angela said finally.
"What?", he screamed.
"Lewis is the father and he isn't aware, I found out some time ago and wanted to tell him, but I confronted her and she owned up to it, I wanted her to talk to him about it herself, how do you think we should go about it now?" she asked him.
"Angela you should have told him or told me at least, maybe she won't have been with Charles today, this means the pregnancy is well over five months and she might lose it, this is not good news as you can see people are already wearing long faces around, we need to get Lewis out of here and tell him before he finds out from someone else, I suspect Ferrari would want to keep her pregnancy away from the media so their representatives will be at the hospital now", he said.
