The new Formula 1 season started with Ferrari and Mercedes leading the charge on the Constructor's table while Lewis and Charles were tied with the same points. The Bahrain and Portuguese Grand Prix were won by Ferrari while the Italian and last concluded Spanish Grand Prix were taken by Mercedes. Charles and Selena had gotten closer as the season progressed because they were together most of the period and Ferrari managed to keep her in Italy after race outings almost denying Lewis access to her. Ferrari constantly posted pictures of both Charles and Selena on their social media accounts indirectly causing many people to identify with them. What pissed Toto off the most was when Mattia fixed debriefs in Italy on her birthday just so she would be away from London and far from Lewis.
"Mattia I think what you and your management are doing is pretty unfair and Selena is certainly oblivious of your strategy, but trust me she and Lewis will still get back together", an angry Toto said to Mattia over the phone. Lewis and Selena had been reduced to just phone calls and occasionally some video calls as she tried to drown herself in work for distraction.
"I think you are over exaggerating Toto, it's not as it seems, yes she is closer to Charles now but that's on her, no one is forcing her please, she's an adult", Mattia replied him.
"You seem to forget both Lewis and Selena are having a romantic shoot in two days and will be done with it just before the Monaco Grand Prix, no matter how much you guys try to separate them they will still end up together and Charles will only end up hurt", Toto explained.
"Don't be too sure of that Toto, everything will play out in due time", he replied with a cocky smile on his side of the phone.
"We'll see about that", Toto replied and cut the call.
Mercedes management were upset about the intentional separation of Selena from Lewis by Ferrari but there was nothing they could do about it and only hoped they would be able to get back during the time they spend at the upcoming Vogue shoot. Lewis' mood had been affected all through the Portuguese and Spanish Grand Prix's and purposely refused to do any post-race interviews even after he had won the just concluded Spanish Grand Prix and it caused him to receive fines from the FIA.
Vogue had notified both Lewis and Angela informing them of changes regarding the shoot. It was supposedly to take place strictly in Abu Dhabi but Paris was added to the location.
Selena had face timed Kayla and her grandparents briefing them about the upcoming shoot and both parties were in awe and supportive of her but it was Kayla who had some key words for her during the call.
"When are you guys going to get back together? it seems to be taking too long", Kayla asked.
"I don't know really, sometimes I feel like it's about to happen and then he changes the topic or when we get in an awkward situation and he finds it difficult to look at me", she replied.
"Don't worry about that Selena, I believe the next five days will be key for the both of you, there's enough time to spend alone without disturbance and it will work out I promise you", she said to her.
"Hopefully", Selena replied.
'I need to pack ahead of the flight, but I will inform you once I land in Abu Dhabi", she added and Kayla was pleased to hear that.
"Alright dear take care and good night", she said and cut the call.
