Joel

The certain raven haired girl was plaguing my mind. God why was she giving me such a hard time? Most girls would just give into me, thinking of her all the time was driving me insane.

"Yo Joel are you even listening to what I'm saying?" Niko asks me, I looked at my brown haired friend.

"Yeah..sorry I was zoned out." I tell my brown haired friend who laughs at me.

"Let me guess it's that certain raven haired beauty Sonja huh?" Niko says and I nodded. I watched Tommi drumming away, I pulled my hair up in a bun. I picked up a pen and begin writing some lyrics. I was leaning against the black leather chair.

God why was I thinking of this dark haired girl? She claimed that she would make me fall for her, well I'm going to prove her wrong. It was a Friday and I wondered what Sonja was doing.

Sonja

I sat in the doctors waiting room waiting for my MRI result what other results my neurologist would say. I smoothed out my outfit:

I was taping my Doc Martens clad foot against the marble floor. God I hated hospitals, the cold white antiseptic smell. My black framed Ray Ban glasses sat on my face.

They called my name and I sighed following the nurse inside. The same typical questions: Why are you here? What's the reason for your visit? And it's like why are you asking me to come every six months for a check up.

"Ah Miss Knight, your brain scan shows that the brain development is fine. But there's some white matter around your brain." The doctor explains and I nodded.

"What does that mean?" I asked the doctor fearing the worse. Was I slow? Was I mentally challenged? A lot of questions were swirling around in my head.

"It means that it takes time for your neurons to fire, to send signals to your limbs hence the problem of the difficulty in your mobility." The doctor says. I nodded and numbly walk out of the hospital.

I sighed and sat down on the bench, thinking deeply. My mint iPhone 11 dinged: Aleksi

Aleksi: Hey Sonja do you wanna hang out?
                   Sonja: Sure Aleksi...

I decided to head by the record store where I worked and told him where I was. It was a Friday and it was usually closed, I noticed a black shiny BMW pull up and I saw it was Aleksi. He stopped the car and got out.

"Aleksi!" I say with a smile and rush into his arms, while he scoops me up. Gosh he smells divine. He opens the passenger door and lets me in.

"Here you go." Aleksi says with a smile, I got in. I sighed thinking about what the doctor told me. Aleksi was focused on driving, we were stopped a red light and he glanced over at me.
