Jades POV
" come ooooon Dere-booooo" I whine
" I'm coming I'm coming" Derek laughs
It's Derek's birthday today and we're going to the lake, and I'm gonna tell him... Dear god I hope he feels the same
" hey it's not everyday you turn 17, I wanna cherish it" he says
I look at him and laugh
" you can cherish being 17 the whole year, now stop being slooooow I wanna get to the laaake" I whine

He goes quiet and I laugh dragging him along the path, we soon get to the lake and start to laugh more sitting down of Course
" oh I almost forgot!" I yell
I look into my bag and pull out a grey and black beanie and give it to Derek
" it's not jewellery like what you got for my birthday but you will not stop talking about it! So I bought it for you, happy birthday" I smile
He looks at me the to the beanie, speechless that's my effect on people when it comes to gift giving
" oh your welcome" I laugh
He smiles and looks at me,

I start to walk to get my bag when Derek grabs my hand and pulls me into his chest

Is it strange that I kinda feel like fangirling... Or does that happen with everyone when their crush asks them to be their girlfriend?

I grab my bag and we go to my house,
