Wednesday... 2 days till the end of term
Jades POV
" still hasn't talked to you since last night?" London asks as we walk out of her front garden
" no, but then again I haven't tried talking to him, I heard him yelling to someone on the phone last night but that's the only time I heard his voice" I sigh
" well I didn't talk to him at all if it makes you feel any better" she says
" no it doesn't" I sigh again
We continue to talk like this till we get to school, that's when things get awkward.
we see Derek and James standing by the gate where me and Derek would usually meet, he sees me then walks up to me London steps infront of me and whispers something to Derek
Oh how I wish I could hear what she's saying...
Derek looks at her then to me, he sighs then steps back, London walks over to James and leaves me standing about a meter away from Derek.. Not at all awkward
" jade... I'm... Im sorry please talk to me" Derek begs as he steps closer to me
" just leave me alone Derek" I whisper
He surprisingly hears my whisper and backs off, I walk into the school and get my books, that's when I'm stopped by matt...
" so your not hanging out with bitch boy anymore..." He says a mischievous grin on his face
" thought he was your best friend, why'd you go back to calling him bish boy" I ask
He laughs at me, always amused at how I never swear unless I'm really angry
"Didn't ya hear him yellin' last night, he was yelling at me, he was blaming me for changing him personally i think it was a good change... cause now I can do what I want to ya and he won't be bugging me about it" he says
I snap, I slap him in the face... But he just laughs,
" ha! Do what you wanna do gorgeous, but you will be mine and petty little bitch boy wont be able to do anything about it" he laughs
He leans In towards my face and I knee him in The crotch
" don't call him that again" I growl
He groans and falls to the floor, don't think I'll be hearing from him in a while
I look around and see London staring at me in shock, I walk over to her and smile
" what? I just defeated matt... For now" I sigh
" you did that yes...what happened?!?" She asks being panicked
I smile slightly, remembering a few months ago when I first met her, she was nothing like she is now, it's to funny to me
The bell rings and we go to our first class, drama, that's when memories hit me... The first day with London, the earthquake, Derek Saving me...
I look into the auditorium and see almost the whole class there,
Derek included except he looked as if he had been beaten up, his hair dishevelled, his jacket covered in dirt, his face was bruised... Matt did this, I know it
James looks at me and notices me looking at Derek's beaten and bruised appearance, he walks down the stairs and to me and London
" matt?" I ask
He nods his head and looks to The floor
" he beat up Derek and each time I tried to help Derek one of matt's goons held me back, he threatened Derek that if he ever wanted to pass music or keep his arm in place he would stay away from you" he sighs
I look at London and smirk slightly
" well matt might want to stay away from me too," I laugh
James looks to me then to London in confusion
" she beat up matt, she was doing it for Derek" London confirms
I hit her arm and look at her in annoyance
" don't worry I won't tell him the last part, your secrets safe with me jade" he says
I nod and he Walks back to Derek, he talks to Derek and Derek smiles which makes butterflies form in my stomach, I'm mad at him but still in love with him? How? Life is confusing...
Me and London sit down in some random seats and mr Asher comes out from behind the stage curtain
" hello class, it is I mr Asher, today we will be doing small improv plays again,but before we jump into that I will remind everyone that the groups I've chosen will be performing their song pieces at the end of term infront of all the parents attending the information night will need to stay after school on Friday... NOW! Improv scenes, today we are doing comedy and more specific, slapstick so I need two people to demonstrate slapstick and I am choosing two people who I know can do physical tricks"
Please no... Not today
" jade kattina and Derek McNally" he says
I sigh as I stand up, London looks at me wide eyed then looks towards the stage, I start to walk down when Derek walks into me by accident making me stumble and fall
" save it for the stage!" I hear matt yell
I glare in his direction before marching down the stairs and up to the stage, Derek following soon behind
" ok now you two are going to pretend your both hosting an awards night but you two hate each other and are rival hosts and ACTION!" Mr Asher yells running off stage
I sigh and put on a fake smile
" well congratulations again to mr Asher for his award for best arts teacher and the next category is"
" biggest douce bag in class" Derek cuts me off
" I was just about to say that" I say getting a small laugh
" well I don't care i said it first"
I turn to face Derek and he looks at me annoyed, obviously acting but I can't help but live in the past and remember how he looked at me like that yesterday
" we rehearsed this I was gonna say that, Got it buddy" I say quickly before Turing back to the audience
" well I didn't want to be put with you in the first place" he says
I'm not sure if that's acting or if he really didn't want to be up here but either way it got laughs, seems like we're doing pretty good, only if I were enjoying it
" Well the winner of biggest douce bag in class is.." He says stepping infront of me
" matt half a brain!!" I yell
I step infront of Derek and spread my arms open wide hitting him in the chest, he over exaggerates and falls to the floor
" what was that for!" He yells
" you cut me off last time I cut you off now" I say through my teeth
" now for best supportive friends...AHH" I Yelp
Derek puts me over his shoulder like a fireman would and I try to get out of his grasp but fail
" DEREK PUT.ME.DOWN!" I yell
" the award goes to London and James! You might have to split the award in half" he says
He walks over to the side of the stage and puts me down before running back to the centre of the stage
" now she's out of the way we can continuARGh!" He yells as I jump on his back
He falls to the floor but I jump off of him before I fall too, everyone bursts out laughing as we continue to 'fight' like this for another 20 minutes, when mr Asher eventually stops us is when I'm sitting onto of Derek, him holding my wrists as we fight over saying the last winner for best host
" ok ok you can stop now" mr Asher laughs
" FINALLY!" I yell
I get off of Derek and run back to my seat, I look at a dying London and laugh
" funny to you was it?" I ask
She nods her head and calms down her face red with laughter tears falling down her face
" so ya feeling any better?" She asks calming better
" slightly, I let some of my actual anger out there so I'm slightly better, I'm still not talking to him though" I say
She sighs before laughing again
" what?" I laugh
" you should of seen matt's reaction when you sat on Derek it was to funny!" She laughs out
I wish I did see it, I think I would of been very amused,

Derek's POV
" ok ok you can stop now!" Mr Asher laughs
" FINALLY!" Jade yells
She gets off of me and runs to her seat, I stand up and walk to my seat,
At least I know she'll talk to me in acting, when she's forced to...
I sit back in my seat and see James, red faced, tears flowing down his face like it were a waterfall and laughing like a maniac
" were we that funny " I ask
He just continues to laugh
Asked and answered
" that... That wasn't the only funny thing" he says between laughs
I look at him in confusion then he points to matt, a shocked, slightly annoyed, wide eyed with a twitch look on his face... He looks broken...That's to funny
" oh my god" I laugh
" yeah he was being all stupid about you and jade on stage then jade jumped on you and he went like that... It's hilarious!" He says between laughs
Looks like I'm not the only one jade can brake... I wish she would talk to me ...
I stop laughing then sigh, slouching in my chair
What do I do? She doesn't want to talk to me... How do I show her I'll be there for her? That I'm sorry... That I love her, How the hell am I gonna pull that off? I need to be home, I need my dads support, I need my mums support... I need jade... But she doesn't need me
No she does, she's just mad at you for now.... For now

Time skip

It's the end of the day and all my attempts of talking to jade have failed... But I'm gonna try again
Me and James walk about 4 meters behind jade and London, that's when I take my chance, I run up behind jade and get her attention
" hey jade can I please talk to you, I need to talk to you I need to apologise properly please can you listen" I say
Jade stops walking and tells London to keep walking, James catches up to us and I tell him the same thing, that leaves me and jade standing awkwardly In the middle of the footpath not talking
" ok, I'm really sorry jade I didn't mean what I said it was matt talking he changed me,I haven't been myself the past couple of weeks just please talk to me..." I say
She doesn't reply and starts to walk off...
Ok so now what the hell do I do...
I sigh and look to the floor
Maybe there's no hope for us...
No more friendship, no more talking, no hope for love...
Tears start to fall down my face as I continue to walk to her house
I can't be here I need to be home...
