A week later...
Jades POV
" finally, I swear if that little kid kept kicking me in the back I would of clawed their eyes out" London growls
" no, no you wouldn't of, plus it was like a two hour flight... Probably less ... I don't know I'm not go with time" James says
I walk up to mr Asher and tap him on the shoulder
" um mr Asher, with the travel to and from London, why didn't we just go by the train?" I ask
" because the school made it like that" he sighs
" well maybe we could of asked the school to change the program" I suggest
" it's a little late jade" mr Asher laughs
" I know but for next year or the year after that" I say
Mr Asher looks at me then smiles
" good idea jade, your a very bright student, I am very glad I have you In my class this year" he says
I smile then walk towards the baggage claim and find London and James bickering over what London would of done to the little kid if they kept kicking her... So I kicked her
" why you little!" She yells
She looks to see me then pulls an unamused face, she turns back to the baggage claim, James and Derek snickering away and She slaps James in the stomach
" ouch!" He yelps
" now you know how my back feels" she growls
I walk up to Derek and hug him before I see my bag and grab it
" ugh this got heavier" I groan putting my bag to the floor
Derek laughs then grabs his bag
" yeah because you and every other girl kept shopping" he says
I laugh and he looks at me confused
" you asked me to get something for YOUR sister did you not!" I laugh
" ok, ok point taken" he laughs
Mr Asher yell for everyone from his class to go towards him And we do as we're told
" ok class, those of you who are getting picked up from school follow me, those who are getting picked up here, are dismissed" he says
He starts to walk away and we say goodbye to London and James who follow behind him
We walk out to departures and see my family and his sister
"Hi" me and Derek say in unison
Not awkward at all...
" hey Dere- boo" Fiona says to Derek giving him a hug
" hey fimonster" he replies
They glare at each other and we just laugh at their sibling rivalry
" hi mum" i Say hugging my mum
" hey jadey" she replies
" hey jadey-wadey" Michael and Alisha say in unison
" Michelle. Astinker" I laugh
They glare at me then someone comes up behind me
" excuse me miss, do you know where I can find my family?" They ask
I turn around and can't believe my eyes
" DAD?!?" I yell
He smiles then hugs me tightly
" DAD!!!" Fiona yells
I look over to Derek and Fiona and they are engulfed in a bear hug by their dad, I feel someone tap my shoulder and see mum
" your father my husband" she says
I laugh and let go of dad and drag my bag away so they have more space
After that Alisha and Michael hug dad, the whole time fiona clinging on to her dad, Derek chose to let his dad actually breathe...
" so what did we miss?" Derek's dad asks
" a lot" Alisha snickers and I whack her arm
" ow that hurt"
" well you better shut up"
" make me" she says running off
" why you little" I try and run after her but Derek grabs me before I can
" jade calm down your starting to sound like London" he says
" if I'm London your James" I say annoyed
I move his arm off me and glare at Alisha, both fathers looking extremely confused
" London and James are new friends I assume" my dad says
Me and Derek nod our heads then Alisha speaks up
" and Dorian and Scarlett their siblings" she says
They still look at us confused then we laugh
" dad London and Dorian are our new neighbours" I say
" and James and Scarlett are ours" Derek laughs
" but that's not the only thing that's new" Fiona says looking at us
Derek glares at her and she just sticks her tongue out at him, again both fathers looking extremely confused
I sigh before speaking
" me and Derek are dating" I say
Both fathers go wide eyed in shock
" last time I heard from you, you two had a big fight" Derek's dad says pointing to Derek
" you two had a what?" My dad says
I grab my purse out of my bag then walk away from the conversation
" excuse me where do you think your going?" My mum asks
" I'm getting another plane ticket to France," I say
" why is that?" She ask
" to get away from all this! Ive lived through the fight, We fought, we didn't talk for a couple of days, we made up, a week later we started dating, no big deal!GOODBYE!" I yell walking away
I continue to walk away until someone grabs my arm, I turn around to see dad a stern expression on his face
" you fought him then start dating him?" He asks
" Yes dad, yes I did... I didn't talk to him because I was heartbroken, he was acting like a douce but it wasn't his fault, it was a singing partner he was put with, he changed him, after we started talking again, his birthday came up and I had to tell him, I couldn't hide my feelings anymore, not from my best friend, and he told me the exact same thing I was gonna say about him and we started dating ok? Please don't be mad that I haven't told you I was gonna tell you in my own time... Blame Alisha and Fiona... They're the ones who brought it up" I say
He smiles and laughs
" you forgot Michael" mum says behind him
I smile and laugh slightly, dad lets go of my arm and hugs me from the side, we walk back to Derek and his family and my siblings and my dad lets go of me and walks over to Derek and whispers in his ear, Derek goes wide eyed then nods his head slightly
" yes sir" he says shakily
I laugh and soon everyone joins in
Dads probably threatened him...
" Patrick leave Derek be he's only 17, he's a lot better than you were when you were 17, smoking, drinking... Let's see what else was there" mum says dad looks to her and his cheeks go bright red, I burst out laughing and so does mum
" smoking while drinking" Derek's dad chips in
My dad walks over to Derek's dad and glares at him
" you just had to say that larry! You just had to say that!" My dad says through his teeth
" dad you smoked? And drank when you my age?" I laugh
" he did it too" dad says pointing to Derek's dad
" mum, i don't think me and Derek are the 5 year olds, I think they are..." I laugh pointing to the fathers
" no no, you two are 5 those two are 3" mum laughs back
They glare at us and everyone bursts out laughing, people in the airport start to stare that's when I speak up
" maybe we should continue this at home?" I ask
They all nod their heads and we say goodbye to the McNallys and head to our home
We're a family again
