Chapter 25

Xavier

Nakaupo ako ngayon sa loob ng isang party. After party kasi nung play at inimbita kami ng President ng Theatre Club. Ayaw ko na sanang sumama kaso pinilit nila ako. Oh wait, ayaw din pala ni Seine kaya napilitan lang din siya.

Well, at least it wasn't that rambunctious. It was just a simple dinner at their club room,

"Oh my freaking gosh talaga!!!"

I sighed, Serene was the only person I know who can say those words in a sentence.

"Oh? Bakit?" tanong ko sa kanya.

"We are like trending in the internet kaya. Look here ha."

She showed to me an article of how the play of the Theatre Club was gathering attention online, there were even requests that they make another one on December.

"Tama nga ako na si Seine ang pinili kong main actress," sabi ni Zero.

Bakit parang proud daddy siya na nagkaroon ng sikat na anak? Natatawa tuloy ako sa kanilang dalawa ni Seine.

"The main actor and actress, as well as their supporting casts,  brought the audience to tears," Serene read aloud. "It was a masterpiece that would be remembered for years to come.
"
I was happy for them, the play that they worked so hard on became very successful.

"The costume was also worth mentioning. It was quite the spectacle given that they were only senior high school students," Seine continued. "Xav, they were making puri to your costumes oh. Oh my gosh, is this the sign that me is gonna be an actress talaga?"

Napatawa kaming lahat sa kay Serene. Ang lawak din ng imahinasiyon niya.

"Oh, may nakita rin akong article tungkol sa iyo, Xav," sabi ni Zero.

"Tungkol sa akin? Ano naman ang nakasulat?"

"Dapat daw sa susunod na play, kasama ka."

I rolled my eyes. As if people are really going to say that. Zero must have mentally heard my thought because he gave me his phone. My eyes widened as I read the article. Zero wasn't lying.

"No way, hindi ako sasali sa inyo."

"Sige na, Xav. Ang tao na mismo ang nagsasabi," sabi niya habang nagpipigil ng tawa.

"Ayoko nga."

"Guys, let kuha a picture."

All of us stood up and aimed the camera at us. After that, Zero took a picture of the three of us.

"Oh, dapat magkasama kayong mga Senses."

"Go, go, Zero. Kuha na our picture quickly,"

We all smiled and the camera clicked.

Nagpapahinga na kaming lahat ngayon. Dapat matutulog na ako pero parang wala akong tiwala sa sarili ko. Baka bigla lang ako makakakita ulit ng vision. Bumuntong hininga ako lumapit sa bintana. Kamusta na kaya ngayon ang mga bata sa orphanage?

Doon ko lang napansin ang pagkakamali ko, nang biglang umiba ang nasa paligid ko.

I knew it. I was in a vision. I instinctively knew that this was in the present. Something was happening in the orphanage. I looked around, there was no one. It was also nighttime. Atlas... Where's Atlas?

My surroundings changed and I was suddenly in his office. He was standing on his desk with a knife pointed at his throat.

"Wala kayong makukuha sa akin!" giit niya.
