Xavier

Tumingin ako ng mabuti sa mga taong nasa paligid ko. Wala na ang orphanage. It was nothing but dust anymore. I took a step towards them but they all stepped back. All of them except for Seine, Serene and Zero.

I looked at the others who did. "Are you... afraid of me?"

"Xa-Xavier, hindi naman sa ganun pero-"

"Bakit kayo lumayo?" pag-udlot ko.

Madame Eloisa pursed her lips, "You lost control of Sight, Xavier. Kahit ngayon ay ginto pa rin ang mga mata mo."

I looked at my hands. I watched too many deaths unfold before me today. That was when I noticed that the grass on my feet were dying. Time was still being accelerated. I remembered I had something I have to do.

I gave them one last smile and I snapped my fingers,

I teleported on a road. I didn't know where and I really didn't care. All I asked for Sight was to teleport me on the place where the children were being held.

Judging by the fact that I am on a road, that means they are being transported by a car. Hindi rin nagtagal ay nakita ko na ang isang truck na paparating. Ito na siguro iyon.

Tumigil ang sasakyan at lumabas ang mga armadong tao at itinutuk nila ang baril nila sa akin.

"Sino ka? Magpakilala ka!"

My eyes narrowed at what I saw. All of them had guns and protective clothing. Looks like they are mere foot soldiers.

Hindi ko sila sinagot ay lumakad na ako papunta sa kanila.

"Tumigil ka!"

I kept on walking.

"Fire!"

They released a barrage of bullets but who were they kidding. As if simple guns can eliminate a Sense. The bullets slowed down as it came closer and finally turned to dust.

The surprised look on their face made me feel more satisfaction than it should have been.

"Hu-huwag kayong matakot! Paputukan niyo pa siya!" sigaw ng nasa unahan.

"He's right. Keep on firing," I taunted.

Bakas na sa mga mukha nila ang takot dahil sa akin. Nangangatig na rin ang binti nila at may iba pang sinubukang tumakbo.

With a wave of my hand, those who ran stopped in their tracks.

"Did you really think you can get away from me that easily?" I asked. "After you freaking kidnapped my family?!"

I snapped my fingers and the their guns got distorted as I manipulated the space it occupied. With a scream, they dropped their useless firearms.

"Halimaw! Isa kang halimaw!"

"Eh..." Napatawa ako at mabilisang hinawakan ang leeg ng lalaki. The man, in the blink of an eye, turned several decades older. "Kung halimaw ako, ano naman ang tawag sa inyo? Mga taong kayang sumakit ng iba para lang sa pera na ibinabayad sa inyo?"

"IF I'M A MONSTER, THEN WHAT ABOMINATION ARE YOU?!" I screamed.

Just because they were near, all the other men now turned into old crones. I could turn them to dust in a snap of a finger. I was just about to do it when I saw him...

Yung tao na nakita ko sa ilalim ng puno.

"Ito ba talaga ang kagustuhan mo?" tanong niya.

Hindi ko na maiwasan na umiyak ng tanungin niya.
