I snuck out to the ground where I found the guard. But now he wore jeans and a t-shirt. He had fangs extended. His hair was a gold color and his eyes had 2 shades of blue. He was amazing in the looks department. I fixed my shirt and jeans and walked up to him.
He noticed me and growled. “So you finally show up.”
I growl back. “I do have a job you know. And I didn’t have to come. I could’ve told someone. Would you mind talking to me some where more private? I have a room to myself.”
He sighed but nodded. I lead him to my room and locked the door. He sat on one bed and I sat on mine. “Tell me the truth and I’ll tell you my truths.”
He growled. “Why should I?”
I smirked. “Because I know exactly how to get you discovered and because I am not admitting to anything till you do.”
He growled but gave in. “Fine I am a Hybrid. My mother died and was a werewolf. My father was a vampire that was killed a few years ago. I wasn’t supposed to have been born.”
I sighed. “No kidding. I am a Hybrid. The one I talked about earlier actually. My mother was a human. My father was a werewolf. While my mother was pregnant with me she was attacked and bitten by a vampire.”
He looked at me funny and laughed. “That’s impossible. You would smell different and you would have to shift. And you would be able to mind link.”
My wolf growled and mind linked to him without me realizing what happened. ‘Don’t you insult me you pup. This child may appear sweet but the wolf inside is the one you should fear.’ She let out a growl that echoed through the link before it disappeared.
He gave me a dirty look. “Was that your wolf?”
I nodded. “Yes and Blood-Fang has a temper.”
He looked at me funny. “She has a name?”
I nodded again. “Yes. She does. I think she is a great wolf and I respect her. If you talked to your wolf you would learn the same.”
I heard my wolf whisper to me then. ‘Touch him. I think I have an idea.’
He stared off into space. I figured that he was talking to his wolf. He finally spoke up. “Fine you may be right. Thorn won’t talk to me now so thanks.”
I smiled. “He won’t, Blood-Fang didn’t want to speak to me afterwards but I respect her.”
He sighed. “So you’re a hybrid, tell me about yourself. I’ll let you about myself afterwards.”
I nodded. “Ok I told you how I came to be. The vampire killed my dad who was an ex-Alpha. My mother died when I was 8 from the venom. It killed her through her brain. I was in foster care for a few years and at 15 I got myself emaciated from faster care. I have been living on my own for a year when a helper of the rebellion leader rescued me. Vampires were sent to kill me because I was a danger to them. I had shifted for the first time that same day. I’ve been with the Alpha of the rebellion for a week when he gave me this assignment. I’m here to spy while I find a way to rescue the old werewolf in the last cell down there in the dungeon.”
He nodded and sighed. “That is understandable and explains a lot. Well my mother was a werewolf and my father was a vampire. My father was killed by a hunter and my mother died giving birth. I grew up with a human family. I learned of my history when a werewolf found me. My mother had been an Omega. The werewolf took me and raised me from age 9. I shifted for the fir time when I was 13. I am here because the werewolf died and I needed somewhere safe to hide. So I came here to be recruited.”
