Chapter 5

It's been a busy week but Friday came swiftly. I was so excited to introduce Corey to my friends. We agreed to meet at Envy at exactly 9 PM, Ella already reserved a couch for us. I immediately went home after my class so that I can prepare myself. I took a bath at 6:30 PM. It really took me an hour to pick the right outfit for tonight. I need to look beautiful!

I ended up wearing a black halter satin dress ending below my knees. It has a long cut on the side. I paired it with my yellow-green heels. Then I decided to bring a mini bag to store my things such as cellphone, lip stick and credit card.

It has been a week since I've seen Limuel. I don't see him on our place anymore. I guess because I'm always with Corey. I felt sad for him.

Halos buong linggo ay kasama ko si Corey sa school. Siya na rin ang naghahatid-sundo sa'kin sa condo at school. Siya na rin ang kasama ko kumain tuwing lunch. Minsan lumalabas kami, minsan naman ay may dala siyang food para sa aming dalawa. By that, I found him very thoughtful.

A message just popped out on my phone.

corey.d: omw now princess

cassianna: corny mo but i'll be waiting pi

I suddenly stopped when Ella's name popped on the screen of my phone.

"Oh, hello?!" I shouted.

[Nasaan ka na?! Ikaw na lang kulang tsaka 'yang bebe mo.] She shouted back.

[Hoy, Cassianna! Parine na! Ikaw na lang kulang!] I suddenly heard Andi's voice.

[Nomi na tayo Casey! Bagal mo!] I can feel my eardrums breaking because of Polo's voice. He was always very loud.

"Oo na! Wait nga lang!" I stopped when I saw a BMW arriving. Here na siya!

I immediately ended the call to walk towards his car. I was suprised again that he didn't open the door for me. Maybe I was just used to Limuel's treatment.

"Hi." I kissed his cheek.

"Gorgeous." I saw him biting his lower lip.

"Let's go. They're waiting na." I told him.

"Right." He let out a heavy sigh.

I held his hands to interwined it with mine. "Don't be nervous. They're all nice." I tried to ease his nervousness.

He just nodded. We arrived at the club at exactly 9 PM. I already saw Ella talking to some guy, nakabingwit na agad si bruha. I think she didn't notice my arrival. I saw Yza and Andi laughing at our table. Faith couldn't make it because she still have a lot of plates to finish that's why Polo was alone. Oh, no he's not. He was with Lim.

"Hey!" I shouted at them. Lim automatically stared at us. He looked emotionless or maybe he was already tipsy?

"Late ka!" Yza pointed at me.

"Ano bang usapan? 9 PM di ba? Anong oras na ba ngayon?" I glared at them.

"Ay! 9 pa nga lang pala." Yza laughs.

"Hi pogi." I almost jumped when I saw Ella holding a glass of Tequila.

"Ella, sasakmalin kita." I threatened her.

"Charot lang! Eto naman." She chuckled before sitting at the side of the couch.

"Guys, this is Corey, by the way." I introduced him.

"Hi. Nice to meet you all." He smiled at them.

"Hi! I'm Yza, nice to meet you." Yza offered her hand.

"Andi." Andi offered her hand. "I'm always seeing you at the Business Mangement building, is that your block?" Andi suddenly asked him.

"Yeah, that's my block." Corey answered before sitting besides Limuel.
