Chapter 17

"Lim, 'wag na lang kaya. Baka hindi ko kayanin, hindi pa ako handa."

And here we are at Star City, enjoying our first date. Limuel keeps on pulling my wrist towards the Ferris Wheel. I just can't do it because I have fear of heights but he keeps begging me to join him. Paiyak na nga!

"Please... Ayoko, ikaw na lang." I tried pulling my wrist away but he grabbed it tighter and intertwined our hands instead. I don't know but it suddenly sent a different feeling in my stomach.

"Hindi mo mararamdaman na nasa taas ka. Nandito ako, hindi kita iiwan. May tiwala ka ba sa'kin?" He asked, staring deeply in to my eyes.

"I trust you."

He smiled at me before buying two tickets for us. "Two tickets, Miss."

The time that I entered the Ferris Wheel, my body immediately shivered but Limuel held my hand to intertwined it again. He smiled at me before kissing my hand.

"Thank you." He keeps staring at my eyes.

"Para 'san?" My brows furrowed my smiling.

"May tiwala ka sa'kin. Thank you."

"Kung wala akong tiwala sa'yo, hindi kita hahayaang ligawan ako." I rolled my eyes at him while laughing.

"Try mo tumingin sa baba." He said while looking down.

I tried to looked down but it keeps making my body shiver. I tightly closed my eyes before hiding my face behind his back.

"Sige, ganito na lang. Kapag tumingin ka sa baba, pupunta tayo sa Calatagan."

That made me smile. Going home in Calatagan after so many years. Going home to my hometown where I was born and raised. I missed the simplicity, chills, and serenity of living in the province. The beaches, farms, mountains, and specially the people living there.

I immediately looked outside the window of the Ferris Wheel.  Yes, it was indeed beautiful. The whole view of Star City including other buildings surrounding it. It wasn't terrifying as I thought it would be. The view is so beautiful, it made me calm. This is the first time that my fear made me calm, that's one over two, because I have two fears in general. Fear of heights and fear of rain.

I finally conquered my fear of heights! This is one of my best days ever! Not just because I conquered one of my fears, but because I'm with the most sincere person in my life.

"Hoy." Tinapik ko ang kamay niyang nakahawak sa kabila kong kamay.

"Ano? Maganda?" He asked me.

"Salamat. Hindi na ako takot sa matataas." I smiled before hugging him, I felt him burying his face on my neck and it's giving me weird feelings I have never felt before.

Is it the tingling sensation people were saying? No, this can't be lust nor desire! I am not lusting over him, my God!

"Sayang, pababa na tayo kung kailan kaya ko na tumingin sa baba nuong nasa taas tayo." I pouted.

"Sakay ulit tayo, gusto mo?"

"'Wag na. Tara na sa Calatagan!" I sounded so excited.

"Overnight ba tayo o uwian?" He asked.

"Overnight tayo! Doon tayo sa bahay namin, I'll just ask Dad about it."

"Wala tayong pamalit."

"May mga damit naman 'don. Okay lang 'yan."

"Okay." He smiled.

"Yakagin kaya natin sina Andi? Siguro hindi na naman busy mga 'yon, 'di ba?" I asked him.
