Ashton's POV
~~~~~~~~~~~~
I woke up the next morning and everyone else was still asleep.
No surprises there.
I slowly got up, rubbed my eyes, and stretched.
I walked over to my suitcase and grabbed my Weekend Warriors tang top and some jeans.
I didn't expect the weather to be so nice here, so luckily the clothes I packed were suitable for the temperature.
I got changed,brushed my teeth ans headed out to go get some breakfast.
I left the hotel room alone because I figured the guys wouldn't be up for a long while and I was hungry.
I walked out of the hotel and saw some fans were gathered outside the doors.
I smiled at them as they came and crowded around me.
"Hello girls, how are you all today?" I asked smiling.
There was only about 6 girls here but this was so surreal that they even bothered to be here and see us.
They all answered at once with good's and great's and hello's which was really cute to see.
They gave me things to sign and I took pictures with everybody as one of them stepped up and asked me, "Ashton where's your girlfriend?"
I smiled, "She's back in Australia."
They all awed, "Are you going to bring her out here for your guy's shows?"
I laughed nervously, "um..I don't know. I would love for her to come out here and see us perform but I'm sure she is sick of hearing us all the time."
They all giggled.
This was so weird!
These people knew so much about my life that I didn't think anybody outside of Australia would ever know!
And now they're giving me suggestions about my girlfriend?
I needed air.
I felt really overwhelmed.
"I uh- if you'll excuse me, I need to be going." I said waving a quick goodbye and leaving in a cab.
I felt like I couldn't breathe.
This was so different.
This was what I wanted, but now that it's here it seems to all be happening at one time.
I have to leave my family, some of my friends, my girlfriend, my home.
I needed to call a lot of people.
I pulled out my phone as I told the driver to drive me to a nice small Café and he didn't question me.
I dialed my mom's number and she answered fairly quickly
"Hey baby." She answered happily.
"Hey mom, how are you?" I asked feeling myself smile and feel better.
"I'm good, we're all good, we're missing you like crazy."
"I miss you too mom."
"So how are the state's?"
People and asking how the state's are like oh my gosh!
"They're great. Haven't really seen much and I'm just in a cab right now on my way to breakfast."
"Are the lads with you?"
"No, they weren't up and so I just figured I'd get a head start."
She laughed, "That's my boy. I have to take your brother to a match so call me later okay?"
"Okay, I love you mom."
"I love you too. Now go have fun okay?"
"Okay." I smiled and she hung up.
I already felt better.
People might think calling my mom meant I was weak or a mama's boy, but it doesn't matter.
Talking to family can make you feel close to them even if they're thousands of miles away.
The driver dropped me off at a small family owned cafe called Sam's Café.
Figures.
I payed the driver and then walked inside.
I was greeted by a woman in her 30's most likely and she sat me in a booth.
This place was practically deserted besides an old couple, two guys, and then me.
After looking around I pulled out my phone and called Sam.
She answered almost immediately, "hey you."
I smiled at hearing her voice.
God I missed her.
"Hey you."  I answered happily.
"Where are you? It's silent so clearly you aren't with the guys." She laughed.
I laughed too, "No but ironically I'm at this small Café called Sam's Café."
She made an ah noise, "coincidence? Or did you just happen to look it up?"
I laughed again, "no I just told the cab driver to drive me to a Café and he brought me here."
"Oh,maybe he's a fan and just happened to know my name."
I nodded even though she couldn't see, "I guess so."
I heard cars going through the background.
"Where are you?" I asked.
"Oh, I'm out on the town walking to Marie's to get some food. James left for work and later I have to help Lauren pa-" She suddenly cut off.
"Sam? Sam?" I asked my heart rate suddenly increasing.
I heard screeching tires, a thud, and a loud scream.
"Oh my God....oh my God! Sam Sam?!" I yelled not even caring if everyone in the Café was staring at me.
A man's voice came through on the phone, "hello?! hello?! Miss, oh my God. Someone call an ambulance! She's bleeding out please someone help!!"
The phone went dead.
My heart was beating so fast I couldn't breathe.
And before I knew it, I was running out of the Café.
