Chapter 27

"Ready?" Luke asked as I nodded.

The nurses had put me on bed rest for the past few days and it had driven me insane.

I nodded anxiously and excitedly.

"I mean if you don't want to, we can do something else." He teased as I hit his arm.

"Help me up." I demanded with a smile as he offered me his hands.

I took them in mine and pulled myself up, "Love be easy." Luke said worried as he wrapped his arms around my waist.

I put my hands on his and slowly led them off of me until I was holding his hands in front of me, "Now let go." I whispered.

He let go reluctantly as everyone walked in.

James.

Lauren.

Stephen.

Mikey.

Cal.

Britt.

Ashton.

Calum and Brittany were something of an item now apparently.

I guess sometimes good things come from tragedy.

Luke took a few steps back as I decided I wasn't going to walk just that short of a distance.

I was going to walk like I wasn't damaged.

I took one shaky step and then walked all the way to the door as I threw my hands up above my head, "I did it!"

Everyone laughed and cheered for me as I smiled happily.

I was getting a lot better but all of these memories were still bothering me.

I didn't really let it show anymore because Luke told me it was okay, that they were just dreams but they felt like more.

"So what are we doing today?" I asked anxious to get out.

"Well we're going to go get some food in the cafeteria." Lauren said implying her and Stephen.

I looked to Calum and Brittany as Britt spoke up, "I get to go fill out paper work for a restraining order and Calum gets to go explain why he stabbed someone in the foot."

"It's going to be great." Calum laughed sarcastically.

I looked to Michael as he smiled, "I'm here to do whatever you want me to babe."

I smiled softly as I looked to Ashton, "I'm going to sit in the lobby and think about how much I hate life,myself,and some of my friends."

That one took me by surprise.

"Oh." I stated.

"Jesus, Ashton, way to kill the mood." Luke smiled hitting his arm.

Ashton looked to Luke as if he wanted to kill him.

"So, I'll wait for all of you guys. Luke will you go get my breakfast from one of the nurses?" I asked having a bigger purpose in mind.

He nodded and walked over to me, kissing me on the lips before walking out, "Be right back." He called walking out.

Everyone else filed out behind Luke but when Ashton went to walk out I grabbed his arm.

But he almost kept walking and about pulled me over.

I fell into him as he caught me quickly, "Oh God, sorry."

I laughed as he helped me stand up, "It's okay."
