Calum's POV

We all sat silently.

Nobody said a word.

But I'm sure all our thoughts were racking up.

My mind was on Sam, but as soon as we walked into that room I saw someone I recognized.

The girl from the party.

Brittany.

Dear God, she was gorgeous.

I mean, I've been around the world a little bit and seen a lot of beautiful girls but she was just absolutely stunning.

She wasn't in the waiting room, but she seemed to be taking up a large portion of my mind.

"I'll be right back..." I said getting up and everyone just nodded.

I walked down the hall and to the small cafeteria.

Maybe food was what I needed, pizza to be exact.

I walked in line and grabbed a tray, when another hand touched mine.

"Oh sorry," I paused looking up and seeing her, "take it." I smiled.

"Thank you." She smiled.

"Hi..." I smiled feeling rendered speechless.

She smiled with a small giggle, "Hi."

"You probably don't remember, but we met at our band's goodbye party." I said awkwardly while trying to be smooth.

Needless to say I failed.

"Oh yeah, I remember a little bit of it. My friend told me she gave me punch, which actually turned out to be alcohol so I remember bits and pieces." She explained, "Some friend huh?"

I smiled, "I mean after I danced with you, my friend came over and hit me over the head."

She laughed, "Looks like we picked the right people."

I nodded, "So you remember me?"

"How could I forget?" She smiled grabbing the tray and walking forward.

Sweet Lord, I don't think I've ever felt my heart beat this fast.

I grabbed the next tray and followed her quickly in the line.

"What exactly do you remember?" I asked.

She didn't look at me but grabbed a salad smiling, "well I remember hitting you with a doorknob, I remember dancing, and I remember giving you my number."

"Well you forgot one thing." I said.

"What?" She asked seeming surprised.

"We actually um..kissed.."

Smooth move Cal, you couldn't have made that any more awkward.

"Oh my God!" She gasped covering her mouth giggling.

"I'm so so sorry, I can't believe I did that." She said in disbelief.

"Actually, I um, initiated it.."

She laughed, "Well, then never mind."

"I'm sorry, I didn't know you had a boyfriend until afterwards."

"Don't worry, things aren't exactly going well with him..."

"Oh." I said sounding more happy than sad.

"oh please," she smirked, "You're practically giddy."

"What do you want?" A coordinator asked as me and Brittany both said at the same time,
